Isn't the idea behind his automatic redirection that it works on anything that would harm him or be dangerous to him (such as how it blocks radiation from the sun, which isn't exactly a direct attack on him)?
Therefore, wouldn't it just prevent him from breathing in any lethal amount of any kind of poison gas or otherwise gas particles that would impair his breathing?

Basically instead of moving "left" or "up" they move in the direction of "sandwich". It's not a direction we can perceive, so it looks to us like they disappear one place and appear somewhere else, but it's still movement.

What you are describing is spacetime warping.

But what you named it in the start of your post is more like hyperspace from Stargate SG-1, or 'the warp' from Warhammer 40k.

Instead of warping space and time point-to-point and stepping through the proverbial door, you instead move the object(s) in question to a different dimension in which area is significantly different than that of the dimension we occupy. So 1mile in our dimension might be 1meter in the other dimension; so taking 3 steps forward in 'hyperspace' would move you nearly a mile in our dimension.

You're probably going to laugh, but one of the few videogames to do this, and do it well is Minecraft.
For every block travelled in the game's 'hellscape' is 8 blocks in the main overworld.
that's the principle in question here; Kuroko uses her ability to move the items(or people) in question into hyperspace, then moves them in that dimension the incredibly small distance required to make a large impact in our normal dimension.

Undoubtedly, the level of calculation, precision and timing involved with doing this and not having your best friend re-appear with their leg trapped in a wall would be on a par with Accelerators vector reassignment.

This is actually the reason there are so few teleporters. Only 58 are capable of teleporting themselves successfully. And some of those require crutches (for example, Kill Point has to have an object or person as a reference point for his destination, basically he has to always teleport somewhere in particular, he can't just guess).

And even out of these 58, only 19 can teleport multiple objects at once, and only 3 can teleport objects without touching them (though this has more to do with Personal Reality than calculation ability, Kuroko will never overcome this limit).

Accelerator is still psychotically smarter than any teleporter though. He can model a universe with an entirely separate law of physics that he just made up in his head in seconds.

Define "natural". If you include everything that is real or can be done, then sure it is natural. However, you can also exclude some of the things that can exist or can be done and only call the included things natural as well. This is what Imagine Breaker basically does. Things that are deemed "unnatural" are negated and returned to a "natural" state.

Awaki can teleport things without touching them though, and is very far ahead of Kuroko in terms of skill.
