There's a reason he turned down Alexander's friendship because "I only have one friend/equal in this life or any other. That's enough". Even before Enkidu's appearance he's not completely awful; he gives the correct advice to the hunter who comes to ask him how to deal with the crazy wild man. Gilgamesh's main problem is that he was arrogant, bored, carefree, and thought he was the hottest shit to ever exist. Enkidu's friendship tempers his arrogance, and his death taught him fear, retribution, and the inevitability of his mortality. Even the fucking introduction praises Gilgamesh.

How does Gil's treasury work? Was it all copied into the throne of heroes, despite not really being even associated with him? I can't really see the Grail being able to 100% recreate Ea. Or is he accessing a past version of it?

It works based on the phrase that he "collected all the treasures of the Earth" or something similar. This was presented as a factual thing in the Epic of Gilgamesh, and not an exaggeration or a metaphor, despite it obviously being one. However, because that is one of the defining identity traits of the hero, "Gilgamesh" Gate of Babylon has a plethora of Noble Phantasms. Almost all of them, with certain exceptions like Excalibur. Possibly because it was not descended from another sword in the Fate universe(I don't know, but he would have something like Mordred's Clarent and he also had Caliburn's original model and another variation: Gram.)

CCC's Launcher(Karna) also has a spear that Gilgamesh doesn't have. He attributes this to there being no record of its use and he tells the Player he wants to obtain it because of that.

Even if there was a Noble Phantasm that is freshly created, it'd be retroactively added to his vault because "history" states "he had it". So I'm not sure why Excalibur and few other Noble Phantasms manage to not exist within Gate of Babylon. It might be because of what I mentioned earlier, or because Excalibur is the crystalized wishes of warriors throughout the ages and not a tool or treasure in the general sense. Gil doesn't have Noble Phantasms that have no physical form(like Reality Marbles and techniques) so it might be something like that.

Write it down if you need. Gilgamesh in F/SN was a bit more excitable and reckless because he was incarnated as a human at the time, which made his 1/3rd human blood rise to the top as he was more in line with humans of that age.

Zero Gilgamesh is unincarnated, so you'll see him act far more wise this time around than previously, and less arrogant.

CCC Gilgamesh is basically prime Gilgamesh, as close as you can get to his true self, as he shows more of his kingly and wise side, while still being basically the same AUO at other times. It's noted this is the summoning that agrees with him the most, so his general aptitude is closest to what he was in life. Through CCC he tells stories of his legend in its entirety, he's notably end of his story Gilgamesh.

If the treasury exists outside of time and is a copy, how can the Grail recreate god shit like Ea?
I don't believe the treasury is copied, as he can permanently lose items (the four NPs he used against Cthulhu in F/Z). So where is the treasury?
