Wave said his goodbyes to Kurome in an emotional fashion, Ran actually looked pretty badass, both Ran and Wave have redeemed themselves by siding with the people in spite of ideological differences, we finally got Wave and Tatsumi teaming up, and we even had an acknowledgement of those who died (especially based Bulat and based Susanoo). I think it was a pretty good episode.

This episode was fucking amazing. Even though I wanted Tatsumi to survive and get all fuzzy with Akame in the anime route, Tatsumi went out like a freaking god.

On a slight off-note: the fight between the giant robot and Incursio's super form reminded me of Cho Dengeki Stryker's Sky Saga, but with the antagonist replaced by the giant robot that shows up during Light Saga.

Probably not, the anime is probably going to gloss over Tatsumi's death entirely. If his death had actually affected her, she'd probably just give up on protecting Honest and just retreat into obscurity, more or less like Wave was planning to do before he remembered what it means to be a soldier. That could've worked if the finale was spread out over two episodes.

But instead we'll get some lackluster bullshit next week.
