What would you do if you found Issei in this position?
Get off on his
Is it just me or was this episode all about butts?
Seriously it was all I could notice.
First Shinji's asscam view in the church, then Shirou's as he's approaching Issei in this scene, Tohsaka's in pretty much every scene that shows her full-body and then Taiga's in PIC RELATED
and taiga's foot.
you can't forget that.
Why does Rin like to pin Shirou so much?
He is prone to doing incredibly stupid shit, so his movements must be restricted.
It wasn't Caster that made Issei attack Shirou, the spell she put on him is automatic if a certain condition is met. Shirou going autistic and not using verbal confirmation simply avoided it.
I like her expression so much.
Why isn't it next week yet?
Why isn't it next year yet?
That won't happen until the last episode
Saber gets knocked out by Kuzuki next week leaving Rin and Shirou to face him.
When Rin is left unable to attack Shirou finally does his first projection in pic related.
>Why isn't it 2016 yet?
I can't wait for Ufotable to have Shirou go full gar.
Didn't stop him from killing Archer.
If Red Man was targeting Illya then maybe he could've won, but killing or hurting your
sisto kill that monster is unacceptable.
But Gold Man played dirty and aimed directly for the Master while the Servant could do nothing but be a meat shield.
Congratulations! You have successfully summoned Heroic Spirit EMIYA as fhe Assassin class!
>What are your chances of winning?
Not bad. Concealing yourself while using hrunting to take out masters is a viable strategy.
Cadalbolg would probably be disable or nerfed in that class though.
I found it weird how casually receptive saber was to hearing about kiritsugu. Isnt she supposed to be still assblasted at what he made her do in the last war?
I noticed the lips more. Seriously, Saber and Rin got closeups of their lips and mysteriously, Kirei got like 4 lip shots all in his one scene. The editor must be gay for him or something.
he has good taste
And yet we didn't get to see best girl's delicious butt.

What happened? Fate was too boring for the Nips, not edgy enough? Will it pick up in the 2nd cour?
Week after next is the date so we see Shirou feeling he does not deserve happiness.
The final episode will be the one of Shirou after losing everything still vowing to fight which is going to be amazing.
Lot of them can't fight on par, just surprise attack at best. Shirou is only in the same realm in HF, while in UBW he says "Yeah, I can't stand a chance against another servant, but I can beat GIlgamesh. Saber, you go on ahead and help Tohsaka with the grail, leave this to me".
It's all about compatibility, if you have everything working in your favor to stand a brief chance.
Even Bazett who is far stronger than all those people can't fight a servant on even ground so much.
>Q. In the other Type-Moon works, who else besides Arc can fight against Servants?
>A. If we're working on the condition of one on one, with an extremely average Noble Phantasm. Generally most of the 27 Ancestors, Kishima Kouma, Aozaki Aoko.
>If it's just a defensive fight, but would still be a fight, then Ciel. Shiki (Rakkyo), Shiki (Tsukihime) are no match for Servants....but Ryougi Shiki (3rd personality) might be able to go as far as the Ciel class.
She is, but she's also aware that Shirou is his son and that Shiro loves him and remembers him differently from how she does. She doesn't say anything because she thinks it's not her place/is irrelevant to the task at hand.
>I found it weird how casually receptive saber was to hearing about kiritsugu. Isnt she supposed to be still assblasted at what he made her do in the last war?
How immature do you think Saber is here? Do you see it playing out like "My father taught me so much about being a hero, Saber. He showed me what it meant to-" "Your father sucked, he was a murder rapist to the max!".
Let the kid have his delusions, as long as she gets the grail she's fine playing along with his foolishness.
I'm wondering about the logistics of the whole thing from Saber's perspective. When she was sent back to the battle of Camlann after Zero, did she immediately go back to the same future, but ten years later for HGW 5? Did literally seconds pass between her destroying the Grail and her meeting Shirou?
Will we get doujins of this in the upcoming Comiket?
One thing that Ive always wondered, is Heroic Spirit Emiya stronger than regular Emiya right before he dies and makes the deal with Alaya? Obviously when he's summoned as a Counter Guardian he is, but does being summoned by Rin make him stronger than before he died, or is he the same?
And if HS Emiya and "Hero" Emiya are at the same level, then doesn't that make Shirou in his prime one of the strongest humans alive?
From the way things were explained in fate that's more of less what it would seem happened. She went back to camlann, had enough time to lament her failure, be brought forward again.
Saber is frozen in time so I would think that for her it felt longer but in actual time it probably was just a second or two.
As immature as shown to be easily taunted by archer.
Autism to the max. Where the fuck did you even pull that shit from? Of course i didnt expect her to react that way.
I was asking because Kiritsugu might still be fresh in her mind to still make her a little pissed off about it. I never really understood what it meant for Saber to be "frozen in time," and Nasu's vague prose doesn't help. I hope he stayed away from time travel apart from that and HA.
Anyway, that seems like it'd create another plothole, since Saber had just been worn down by Gil and Berserker, and then she get summoned and has to immediately fight Cu and promptly hands his ass to him. They should have thought about that harder
Is it even clear if he was able to pull the RM itself in life as EMIYA or if it only manifested as his NP at death? I imagine he would have stirred some serious stuff if he was able to use the RM in life, not to mention the Clock Tower wanting to seal him if they caught any wind of him having even a latent ability to manifest one.
Heroic Spirit status is always an upgrade even from making a contract with Alaya, I think.
Servant container has a lot of limitations, you'll get something a lot weaker than the original pieces at times.
Just look what happens when you shove three divine spirits into the same mold. You'll get some broken skills out of it, but the stats still won't necessarily be stronger than other servants for some reason.
The entire reason they summon them into classes in the first place is because they can't summon full heroic spirits because that would cost so much more. So they summon an aspect/fraction of them, through a "class".
Depends on the servant/master how close the class gets to the original.
>Real Name: Violet
>Attribute: Chaotic Good
>Noble Phantasm: B
>Alter Ego of chastity.
>C means cash, cool, and constriction.
>In the past was entrusted the financial affairs of the Sakura Camp.
>A complex of many goddesses, Greece mythology's female monster Medusa (Originally an Earth Goddess), Indian mythology's Apsara, the model that comprises Melusine from French folktales.
>■ Crack Ice: EX
>Cheat Skill evolved from Mystic Eyes.
>Normally Mystic Eyes are invoked by "looking at the opponent," "eye contact with the opponent." Paralysis, Enchantment, and Petrification's effects are exhibited in this fashion. Crack Ice is "The space in Violet's field of vision is stored." That effect is paralysis. That is time stops.
>Violet is the only one who can move in this space, humans are conscious and can figure out what is happening.
>■ Shackled Desire: A
>A skill that increases physical restriction attacks (Paralysis, Sealing, Petrification) in battle.
>However, "to tie" is a day to day activity, so normal attacks drop by 10%.
>■ Riding: EX
>Talent of Riding. Can ride anything. Rather, just assimilates it.
>■ Transformation: A
>Skill that allows one to change his form.
>Violet can freely change herself into a fibrous shape. Strike system's attack damage is greatly reduced.
>In addition when this skill and the Riding Skill and combined in such a fashion...
I think what he meant by frozen in time was simply that unlike the other heroic spirits she wasn't a spirit of hero. She was a living human being who's consciousness was pulled ahead into the future (from her perspective) into a container (her servant body). So she experiences the passage of time differently from everybody else because to everyone except her she's already died and cast her sword into the lake. From her perspective, everything that's happened (contracting with the grail, being summoned, failing, returning to her dying moments, contracting again, being summoned again etc.) has been linear.
I think the kiritsugu is fresh in her mind, but her failures as a king in her dying moment are fresher and more important. Even when Kiritsugu betrays her she's sort of dismissive of it (in fate) because she knows she's destined to obtain it regardless due to her contract with the grail.
Counter Guardian Emiya is actually more powerful than Servant Emiya. Counter Guardian Emiya is given endless mana supply for example so he does not have to hold back at all and can spam his strongest attacks without limit.
In some cases though being put into a servant body might make some heroic spirits more powerful since the containers give boosts themselves as a class bonus.
He triggered the first flag in the student council room.
If I became a heroic spirit doesn't that technically mean I could go back to when I was a human and fuck myself?
That's like my number one dream right next to being a little girl.
You're complaining about realism in Fate?
And Rin and Shirou's relationship develops further from here. We're not even done with the first cour. Do you want them in a committed romance by episode 10?
It wouldn't be you though, it would only be a copy of you. You would be sitting on the Throne of Heroes with all the other heroes. Your only hope is if your Servant clone also somehow becomes a heroic spirit, in which case someone would be summoning a Servant of a Servant.
How do you think everyone would react if Shirou went Issei route?
Saber probably wouldn't give a shit at all.
Rin would be okay with it but she would still make fun of him.
Sakura would freak out at first but she would get over it eventually.
Ilya might have a problem with it.
Taiga would probably be happy for them.
All of them like this. Especially Saber, she gets along with both of them pretty well if HA is anything to go by, so double jealousy on her part.
Heaven's Feel is structured in a way that would be weird for a full anime. It's basically one long continuous build up to the end. Having a climactic finale for a movie works, but putting that out to a full series might be difficult.
So far everything has been perfect. All the important areas have been touched on and they have added extra.
The pacing is matching to what people expected when it was announced.
>absolutely nothing happened this episode
All the scenes had a purpose in setting something up, even if it doesn't seem like it. Yeah, it was a little quiet, but that's the price you pay for adapting a VN so faithfully.
No, blonde guy is not Sakura's Servant. Now get out before you get spoiled.
>that blonde guy
Come on, you can't be that new and unspoiled.
>Saber is emitting a terrible murderous intent that even makes me pale.
>Saber: "...What is a Master from the last war doing here? I remember that Kiritsugu shot and killed you."
>Kotomine: "Certainly. When I abandoned my rights as a Master and raised my hands, he shot me from the back. If I did not have God's divine protection, I would have died then.
But what of it? It must be like yesterday for you, but it happened ten years ago for me. Are you going to bring up a fight that has already ended?"
I'm happy with the adaption so far. I like that it's trying to include as much of what happened in the VN as possible. This is really the calm before the storm.
>also is that blonde guy sakura's servant?
the blonde guy
was kotomines servant, gilgamesh, in the previous war. Kotomine is going to loan him out to shinji.
HF can't be done as a TV series.
It had to either be a OVA series or a movie series allowing it to not worry about TV censorship.
Think of it this way. HF is the grand finale bringing the whole story together of the previous routes. The fact that F/Z was animated also helps it also.
Ufotable knows what they are doing and you know they are putting all the effort into it.
No, I really think given the circumstances, the movie format works best.
I mean take into consideration Fate/Zero as well. That anime casually answers a ton of mysteries that are presented throughout Heaven's Feel. UBW probably works best for a TV show because almost nothing from the route got spoiled in the previous show.
Seriously. What was going on with her pinky toe?? I don't think it's supposed to bend that far away from the other four.....
Looking at that is practically giving me a foot cramp.
Sakura and Rider watching UBW 9
>Let's bear with it for now, Rider.
>We will be key characters in the movie version, eventually... our patience will be rewarded....
How will ufotable handle
the projection scene next episodewithout making secondaries scream "ASSPULL"?
Archer's route is the Issei route.
Show a pan out of Shirou's shed at the start of the episode, as he's doing his usual practice. He walks out of the shed, camera stays in the shed, all of a sudden one of the tools in there shows the usual tracing lines on it, and breaks.
It's something that isn't talked about too much, but a lot of shit in his shed is traced. He does it as practice for his strengthening, and in general that's how he figured out how to fix machines. By creating parts of them and shit.
In all three routes there's a moment that Tohsaka looks inside of his shed and just goes "This is bullshit".
>In all three routes there's a moment that Tohsaka looks inside of his shed and just goes "This is bullshit".
Who is to blame her?
Shirou is fucking insane in the way he does everything, especially magic.
