Sure we've all been there but I think you're being a bit too casual about this. Comics may look like a piece of cake to draw, but it's hard as fuck. Not to mention it's a domain in art where you need not only diverse skills (writing, composition, anatomy, perspective, etc) but highly refined ones.

Watching this video may give you an idea on what you need to work on, if you're serious on your ambition and drawing comics isn't just a passing fancy for you that is.
By the way I don't know the amount of manga/comics you've read, but it looks like you only know about OP, Naruto and Bleach. You need to read everything you put your hand on, even things you wouldn't usually read. If you don't you'll probably write some shitty piece of manga with elemental powers everyone and their mother has done before you. Read seinen, comics, super hero shit, 4 komas, gag manga, mystery manga, tezuka, shojo, josei, hentai, yaoi, yuri, franco belgian comics, etc

There you have it, no anime is pointless (except maybe A/Z) if it exists and you heard about it, then it means it appeals to some people, and thus it can't hurt to know about it. What's the appeal of this shit ? Why do people watch it ? Why does this character annoy me slightly less than the rest of the cast ? You need to know what it is about before dismissing it. Watch it ironically, watch it while ironing your clothes, I don't know man. If I was able to watch Sora no Otoshimono then you should be able to watch anything. Not to mention moeshit can be plenty of anime genres, and some of them have real qualities and it would be wrong to dismiss them just because you label them as "moeshit".
You don't need to watch all of them, just try to watch an read anime/manga representative of every genre. Read/watch classics and keep up with the latest popular titles.
Lurk on /a/, go to waifu/husbandos threads and look up from what anime is this seemingly popular character, go to retro threads, watch the /a/ patrician chart, go to a homo thread, a yuri thread, a one page thread, a harem thread, get recommendations (without asking bluntly of course). That's the way to get knowledgeable about manga as a whole.
