Let's assume that Taisha is not lying about the Vertexes being evil. That they are a real threat and the hero system is truly the only way they have to defend humanity right now.

I am beginning to think that the goals of the Taisha and the goals of the Shinju are diverging.
Why would the Shinju let Fuu transform to attack it? Why didn't her fairies stop her? Why did the Shinju let Sonoko use its power to teleport Togo and Yuki to her? Why did her fairies not stop her?
Shinju is not worried about the girls turning against IT. It wants them to take down the Taisha.
Where was Tougou the second half of this episode? Was she with Sonoko? They are all in the town she lives in now. They should all take the time now that they are here to go visit her. Karen especially needs to meet her.

For me, Madoka went dark, but kind of kept a steady pace of darkness rather than sadness/heartbreak. When Ep 10 in madoka came around, it's like it threw a concentrated does of tearjerking. YYY like slowly wretching the tears from you over the past 2 or so episodes.
