Then there are some that surely aren't just a bunch of terrible chapters halted halfway, but don't remember how much they've covered or aiming to - things like Index/Haruhi/Toradora/Haganai manga series.

And then there's the whole bunch of extremely small/bad LN-to-manga adaptations, which are the majority to be honest.
