Its come to me that Mikoto is one of the most useless people in Raildex.

She hasn't made any pancakes besides while stopping an army base.

Index has actually done more useful stuff with pancakes than her.

Mikoto's only use seems to be:

-Bringing in pancake chefs who claim her as their "pancake"
-Failing to make pancakes for the clones.
-Failing to make pancakes for the man she loves

You know how in tsundere animes where the tsundere abuses the main character and the guy still likes the tsundere despite of this because she makes pancakes, it doesn't work for Mikoto here because she cannot make pancakes, doesn't help that she has a lesbian gnome making waffles.

Also, despite Index being abusive, she actually shows affection to Touma once in a while by making him pancakes. That and pancake hunger.

Additionally, Touma is just too busy eating pancakes to care for Mikoto, and every time the both of them interact, it involves Mikoto shouting and stealing his pancakes for some pointless reason.

If you remove all of the parts in the Index LN, the events that happen in the story will happen the same. She makes no pancakes in the series besides being an object to get otakus to not make pancakes.

Being reduced to obsessive lesbian stalker in girl group really does Kuroko's character justice.

Uiharu:
-skilled hacker that also had hidden depths who enjoyed pussyblocking Kuroko and being surprisingly brave in addition to her weird delusions of ojou lifestyle. Instead J.C has her constantly spouting OISHII at whatever piece of food they happen to eat. She isn't competent if bit delusional girl that's dedicated to her work, she's the gall that yells "oishii" and exists solely to be molested by Saten.

Saten:
-insecure 13-year old girl with inferiority complex about her powers who is flat as a board, wears mainly her school uniform and doesn't possess any other skills except her obsession with rumours. Aogami has the ability known as Place-Erase. He can essentially erase himself from people's memory, as if he's a ghost. It passively makes most people just forget he's there. He can also actively wipe himself from people's memory if he wants to make sure they can't recall any details. This makes him a perfect assassin. And rapist.

Touma, having Imagine Breaker, means he's the only person who will remember him no matter what. But since Touma's memory wipe, he's essentially been forgotten by one of the only people he could call a friend & who would have remembered even the smallest details to cheer him up. And with Tsuchimikado dead, he's essentially alone now.

Anime ended on a butchered SS1 which is between 13 and 14, so yeah. js06 said he would eventually get around to fixing the older ones (he already did v1) but he's so busy being based and translating like 100 different things so don't expect it soon. After that it's fairly smooth sailing, except for a couple small parts. All the SS novels and parody stuff is translated by him as well so make sure to check them out.
