I loved it. The setting was interesting, and I enjoyed the characters. The transforming hero and wrestling moves didn't hurt either.

Personally, I was always a bit disappointed to learn that Miura was some sort of shut-in nerd. I'd always taken him for a man of the world before.

I think it was absolutely great. I'm glad that Miura worked on a side-project that he loves. It probably did not suck creative energies from Berserk, I think it was a story that Miura really wanted to draw and that it put him in a good mood. It will only help his future career. Why would you ever give heat to an artist for being productive about something they obviously feel strongly about?

It wasn't planned to be 100 chapters originally. that was a mistranslation. You would have seen people freaking the fuck out everywhere because it would mean more than half a decade with no Berserk.

I really liked Gigantomaxia. Miura's amazing art in a scifi futuristic world and him writing a character who is so different from Guts was great.
