Now that was just uncalled for and rude. Kishi does have art talent and naruto was very fun in the beginning when he was shaping up the konoha world and making the ninja arts seem more interesting then just going full power level, there was a time when the characters had to use their chakra wisely and be strategic as a team instead of doing everything alone and relying on one persons power. or the belief that there were certain jutsu's that every ninja knew like transformation or substitution or dopplegangers and a bit of genjutsu and such but they had a few special jutsu's up their sleeves that they specialized in to beat their opponent by surprise.

As time went on though the story had to progress because a series can't run on forever, masashi probably got headaches thinking how can I end this series in the best way possible? and this was probably the best he could come up with with the help of his editors. (although I wouldn't be surprised if his editors pushed him in this direction to going power level)

I liked naruto and half of the shipudun arcs, (the talk about how there were exactly 9 tailed baste killed it for me, it was cool when gaara was introduced and he was similar to naruto in a way but the fact that there were so many jinchiriki's ruined the immersion that naruto wasn't that special a character if every country had a jinkirichi its also clear that maybe masashi had a lot of trouble trying to come up with cool jutsu's that seemed ninja like. (Hidan kind of ruined that for me as well as kakuzu a bit)

After rewatching some early episodes, rereading the exam arc and listening to few endings I was just a little baffled by the ending really. Holy shit, I thought the same thing. I mean I remember when kakashi used the lightning blade for the first time zabuza stated he could ALMOST see the chakra in his hand. but then later when naruto learned the move rasangan it was like nothing more then DBZ where they used raw KI (DBZ fan here). the difference of ki and the whole chakra premise that I found so cool was that chakra was used as a tool to use different weapons while KI was used as a weapon in itself.

There were also jutsu's that I thought were pretty damn cool like shino's bugs and kankuro's puppet art and deidara's exploding clay. Things that I never would of associated with ninja's.

It also bugged me how nina tools like daggers and caltrops and such were discarded so much when those are almost the symbolic tools of being a ninja.

I really liked the one where shino fights kankuro, and the shikamaru fights that sound ninja who used genjutsu, those 2 felt the most ninja like for me.

If we are talking very early naruto remember when they did that bell test with kakashi and when the fight began sakura and sasuke went and hid while naruto went face to face with kakashi and said let the match begin and kakashi said "you may be thinking of the wrong kind of match". Kakashi said that the essence of being a ninja is to eradicate yourself, become invisible. The sharing an was really kind of confusing when you think about it, kakashi used it in the beginning because he could copy techniques or so even though he used a form of genjutsu to manipulate the enemy, the sharigan at first sounds like sasuke can use it to copy juts techniques then later the sharigan can be used to mimic physical moves like what lee did, then the sharigan could be used as a form to see through genjutsu, then the sharingan could be used to see the future movement of an enemy.

Its almost like masashi either didn't know what the sharing an should be allowed to do or just kept giving the sharing an new abilities like it was calvin ball. The sharingan really needed to be able to have one type of ability instead of just adding shit to it.

Byakugan was a lot better because to was so much better established at what it could do, It could se an enemies tenketsu points and it could give him a near 360 degrees view around him. it stayed that way and never changed.

If you pay FUCKING ATTENTION to the series, occasionally you see the Daimyos talking about MONEY and the FUCKING FACT THAT THEY GET TO PICK WHO BECOMES HOKAGE.

I actually thought that the awakening the sharing an thing was cool in a way but I think it got ruined half way.
I theorized that you get a different stage of the eye depending on certain events as shown.

Obito's gets second stage sharing an when he protects kakashi, sasuke gets second level sharing an when he tries to protect naruto from haku.
So theroticlly protecting a friend gets you stage 2

then sasuke got the third eye part when he severed bonds with naruto, awakening part 3 which made sense that kakshi had a level 3 because he severed ties with obito and let him die. (kind of)
So betraying/ breaking a bond with your close friend awakens level 3

Then magenkyo is achieved by killing your closest friend (Whats really stupid is how this was the only sharigan level that was made CLEAR how to obtain it in the manga) Itachi and kakshi both had these, kakshi killed rin and itachi killed shisui, who were their closest friends. And thats how kakshi had a mangekyo sharing an.

(I was okay with the whole mangekyo sharingan form because that seemed to be recognized as the true final form of the eye)
Now I can't remember how sasuke got mangekyo cause he never did kill naruto but his brother. (the whole taking each others eyes got a little ridiculous after a while, the only reason I really give kakshi's a pass is because run was a medic ninja and could transplant the eye easily)

I thought it was an interesting premise that it seemed like the closer you become to someone the stronger the eye became but then it does a 180 and it becomes more powerful if you try to destroy those bonds. The biggest stage being killing your closest friend.

The only thing that annoys me is that the first stage is awoken by stress, which ruins the whole flow of the sharing an, It would of been better if stage one awakens by making a best friend.
