Depends on your taste, this has pretty good choices.
Nowadays mangafags are going the way of the animefags where they do not want to get out of their comfort zone declare a handful of manga as the best and not explore further.
Unfortunately I don't have a "best manga" every time I try the manga either gets overshadowed by an even better one or something goes horribly wrong with the manga.
>all new manga only have 3 chapters out
>all old manga have shitty endings
>all current manga jumped the shark already
He loves Lady Gaga who is American.
Devilman. It had one of the greatest impacts on the anime/manga industry and is considered a timeless classic by authors, critics and fans alike.
Yellow Star is a great opening.
That being said, here we go.
I can't read shoujo because everything I try is generic shit with generic backgrounds. I know I'm not the only one because I saw someone else complain about "sparkly flowery backgrounds".
Basara's character design/art is really shit, for the few pages I saw. As generic as it gets.
Banana Fish, on the other hand, it looks more like a hybrid between a stereotypical shounen and a josei, rather than a shoujo. Never tried it, but I'm downloading it as we speak. I'll add it to my backlog.
I actually tried. I swear I did.
It's just that after a few pages I just want to kill myself because shit's ugly.
I don't even care about bad/alternative art, it's just generic shoujo that puts me off a manga forever.
Maybe I used a bit of a hyberbole, but quite alot of the more obscure series on that pic only have a few volumes scanlated and theres no point reading them if theres no closure.
