Is the only reason to like Haruhi is because she's hot?
Oh boy it's this thread again.
No, I actually like the way she acts and her upbeat personality in general
She's hella cute though
>start reading the light novels
>just finished asahina book
>cant help but read the book in sugita's voice
how does he do it /v/
also does the story pick up after this writing section where haruhi is like lets make stories?
She is still very manipulative and the maybe the most dangerus person in the Story.
She can destroy the just because she have a bad day, she steal to Makind the option of Free Choise, Even the Otaku fantasy boy (kyon) have not choise more than just do what she want.
Right, and the rest she simply doesn't care about as long as they abide her and they have to because they forced by their organizations. Honestly, they all aren't even friends and hate each other.
>She can destroy the just because she have a bad day
Yes, but she doesn't know so what could she do about that?
>Even the Otaku fantasy boy (kyon) have not choise more than just do what she want.
Confirmed for getting the point of the story
True She dont know, so what she is still the worst thing ever lived in the story of the Mankind.
If her friends really were her friends they at least could try make she acept the Reality and help her grow up has a person.
Kyon is the worst of them, he is living the wet dream of an Otaku and at the End for cause of the Plot nothing Bad is gonna happen to him or to the Other Members of the SOS brigade.
>If her friends really were her friends they at least could try make she acept the Reality and help her grow up has a person.
Except that's what Kyon is often trying to do, if it weren't for him Haruhi would still be withdrawn, extremely antisocial and aggressive as she was at the beginning of the series
No. She's also ambitious, never procrastinates, she's driven and has positive vision for herself and those around her. She's actually a very enviable person once she comes to grips with personal boundaries.
Is that a bad thing?
Besides I like her genkiness.
>implying she's not
Apathy is moe, anon.
So is suffering
Can anyone tell me which series this gif is from? I assume Haruhi-chan, which I haven't watched yet.
The times when she does do something or displays personality make her seem human. Seeing a non-human character act like that is appealing. Her character design is also nice, and she's an interesting character with her powers and whatnot.
How do you even smell Chinese cartoons?
Looks like you posted the wrong Haruhi. The one in your pic is actually from Ouran Highschool Host Club. Here's a pic of the Haruhi from the show we are discussing here. You seem new here so please remember to lurk a little more and to watch more shows before posting.
She's a charming character, who, incidentally, has a nice ass.
She's also a reality bender meaning she can cater to ANY fetish! The hard part will be getting her to believe the lie in the first place but once it's planted deep enough her mind will make it real.
You will never spend a rainy day reminiscing about everything you've done with Haruhi
If i could only watch one more anime episode ever it would be this one.
have you guys seen the IRL photos of this particular hill?
I've been rewatching Haruhi a bit, I remembered why I liked it so much.
>natural dialogues with lots of text
>fun sci-fi stuff that don't take itself too seriously
>Kyon criticizing everything and pointing out plotholes
>character development that characters dont understand or point out, giving the watcher some room to think
Speaking of, is this there any word on the anime besides this?
I knew the school was based on a real one and I'd seen some pics before, too, but seeing it on video really shows how fucking comfy that place is. So jelly there are students who get to enjoy that place (and the fact that it's connected to SHNY.) My HS was nowhere near as comfy.
you can never look at Haruhi the same way again
Probably more serious yet still eccentric at times
>next novel comes out
>there's a huge timeskip
>things have climaxed, once again
>the events are referred to in passing but never really elaborated on
>big changes like missing characters and odd relationships aren't even touched on because in the novel universe, these changes happened a long time ago and are now the norm
>reading the novel is like watching Haruhi S1 in broadcast order
>skip to the end
>of course, it's talking about the past now and what happened
>get left hanging right when you know that shit's about to go down
>novel after that is set up to be the glorious conclusion
