It was pretty dark, yeah.
Hey there guy! Your sister is the fucking blob monster! And your sword is possessive as fuck of you! And your boss is crazy but you already knew that!
All it did was confirm for me what I've thought all along, that the true villain of the story isn't Haunted or the witches or even the Inquisition, it's the fucking Chairman/Director guy.
Have you seen the manga? Prepare for the worse, it was really bad.
We can't really say that Chairman is the only villain. Kurogane seems to know "the truth of the world," and still sides with the chairman and Inquisition; and he seems like a nice guy.
Isn't the next volume pretty much Kusanagi + Mari in magic high school?
We probably won't be getting any character centric volumes for a while. Volume 7 looks like a rescue mission volume, which kinda looks Ouka centric. Volume 6 is Magical Academy so Mari might be getting some screen time.
Volume 8 mother and daughter are reunited.
It's pretty popular among LN readers.
And the manga is pure shit compared to it.
And the translator deliberately avoiding to finally catch up to this series doesn't really help as well.
There's no images of the other members of the Platoon for volume 6, based on images it pretty much is just those two + Lapis and of course the elf. Of course this is just guessing based on images though.
I'm expecting jack shit from the anime anyway.
It will either turn out like the manga and be full of necessary fanservice while avoiding the dark aspects of the show and missing the atmosphere completely.
Or it will end up as an censored and rushed mess.
So it's good that he presses along once teh date is announced.
I feel like they'll rush to get to volume 5. It really feels like 5 was the end of an arc, and 4 was somewhat underwhelming.
If you're gunna advertise for a LN, leave off on the volume with the most unanswered questions.
The problem with doing that would be closure. It'd have to go anime original ending, or second season to end in a way that won't damage the series due to rushed as fuck open-ended ending.
And if they hint at a second season using season 5, it'd be pretty fucking retarded because we all know we're not going to get it.
Translator drama dating back to when Mushoku was getting popular. Some translators left and started their own sites because they didn't want to be associated with BT after they severely lowered their standards for projects.
Translator got mad that his translations are labeled as Baka-Tsuki and are being compared to machine translations.
Random and stupidly long rant from someone who wants attention and acknowledgement.
At least he is continuing the translation.
thanks a lot anons.
So Vol9 is the lastest out, do we have a date for the 10th one ? Also, is the story far ahead or are we still in the early stage ? Again, thanks.

Nothing wrong with acknowledgement. He/she is doing us a service translating this for free.
I wouldn't get to close.
She might devour you
>Looking for pdfs in each volume page
>looking for pdfs at the end of each volume
>looking for pdfs in the home page
>not looking in the main page of each novel
Thanks anon, I downloaded other series as well.
I got this nagging feeling that I should wait for Campione v17 before I start anything, because 7 chapters will pop up in 2 days and there's nothing more I hate than putting a volume on hold to read another.
I'm disapointed that MC uses swords when everyone else uses guns, and he pretty much wrecks everyone with it, Its so over done its a cliché, we're It me I'd make him use a gun+sword combo (best of both worlds)
He hasn't really "wrecked" anyone except
Reima because he was a scrub. Most of the fights he's had has been against people who don't even use guns. Even then, they're no where near one-sided. His platoon backs him up on all his encounters.
I wouldn't even call it edgy. I'd call it grimdark with a dash of harem hijinks and to many best girls to count.
I consider a series edgy when characters do things that are out character, and when it goes against the world building.
This series setting is apocalyptic so I consider it grimdark instead of edgy.
So it seems Ikaruga can eat anything post elf transformation mode, did she turn into a elf for real or did she just tinker too much with herself?
