ITT: Anime only you have seen.
I also forget sometimes that there are only like 5 people on /a/ that have seen Kinnikuman.
>not fapping to the yuki onna.
Maybe not that unknown but I don't recall ever seeing it brought up on /a/. I really enjoyed it.
/a/ is primarily concerned with seasonal shows then waifu and board culture.
If you bring it up people will talk about it.
the thread won't hit bump limit but people will reply.
Nobody here has seen Ashita No Joe either. Pretty much all the most influential anime are brushed off here.
Doesn't help that kinnikuman is only subbed the first 50 episodes or so.
I really wish there were better quality video for this show. It's an interesting gem. Though, while I would say it's obscure to /a/, on /m/ it's more well known.
Makoto Kobayashi is a fucking amazing mechanical designer even outside of this show too. He really has a unique pseudo-organic style.
While most of /a/'s apathy to the classics is pretty saddening, half the time I can't really blame some anons because of the scarcity of people willing to translate the older stuff and make it more well known. I've been wanting to watch Majokko Megu-chan for years now, but no one is going to sub it despite being a classic magical girl show that supposedly helped pave the way for some of the more common story elements that are now somewhat a standard.
Not sure if unpopular
Or if it's just not bad and not good.
I can't say that nobody else has seen them, but some of these certainly aren't mentioned enough around here.
Cat Planet Cuties
Seikon no Qwaser
Nurarihyon no Mago
