I was fine up until the end
But damn, they broke me at "to be continued?"
At that point, boom, thats when it hit home that dandy was over...and i would never hear the end of "Season 3 when"
Unfunny childish trash that pretends it's hot shit. Horrendous fanbase and as always it shows in this very thread. The only thing it ever had going for it was the animation and maybe the music.

>people getting THIS mad that an anime they don't like is popular
it confuses me too, I can't see why Dandy threads get filled with so much hate.
I didn't even browse the /a/ threads while it was airing so I'm confused as to why.
Genius argument Dandyfag, I'm shaking right now by the way you simply moved me with those compelling words.
How about fuck off your shit taste fags. It's over, find some other shitty anime to jerk over this season.
>I can't see why Dandy threads get filled with so much hate.
Its because it aired on Toonami and normalfags like it,
Now the haters will tell you this in a thousand different ways, but that's what it boils down to.
ah, I should have deduced that from the "Space Dandy isn't an anime" screencap and surrounding posts really but cheers.
To pull the thread back, I still think my favourite episode is the one with all the alternate universe Dandys, in particular Mystical Ninja Dandy is best Dandy.
When you're watching
You're not even watching the anime. You're watching FUNimation's re-written version of an anime. So why you would even watch the dub and then say "I'm watching Space Dandy" is beyond me. You're not watching Space Dandy. You're watching the dub of Space Dandy, and considering this is Funi we're dealing with, these are two completely different things. Also the dub is complete shit in both dialogue and voice acting, so unless you're like deaf or some shit I don't understand how you could bring yourself to say you enjoy it too.
As long as I don't mention it, I could have an in depth discussion with you about any show here, even if I watched it dubbed.
But most dubs are bad
Literally anime of the year, I'm so glad Space Dandy existed
>Japs hate it
>Rest of the world loves it.
Well I guess Dandy is no more.
Indifference is not hate
NA is not ''the world''
And then something similar supposedly happened with Zankyou no Terror. The people responsible for the script didn't give one of the voice actors (who is new to the industry) his script for the final episode until a few days before he had to record his lines but gave everyone else the script farther in advance, and then he cried in public when they aired it at a special screening early. I imagine also for shits and giggles.
Nice job, you supported a middleman western industry who hires non-union voiceactors to churn out content (content they don't give a shit about preserving the artistic integrity of) in order to profit off of ignorant nerds.
Go ahead though, continue to try and excuse watching any dub ever made.
See you later.. Space Dandy
>watching a chinese cartoon obviously directed at western audience in an eastern language that doesn't fit at all
I need a nice BD box set
>listening to amateur voiceactors fail to actually act in any of their lines, reading shit emotionlessly off a page in the 10 stock voice characters are allowed to have in dubs
I usually only watch anime in Japanese.
The only shows I've really watched in English were Great Teacher Onizuka and Space Dandy.
Great Teacher Onizuka was a lot better in English mainly because of Steven J Blum.
i want to fuck araki
I mean, it was a pretty good ending so a third season isn't really necessary. But on the other hand I won't grow easily tired of this open setting.
Fingers crossed for [as] having some money to burn on a movie or OVA.
Yes he is overused but I enjoyed him a lot in GTO because he seemed to fit the character of Onizuka well.
I don't really care for him much out of that and maybe as Spike in Cowboy Bebop.
You tend to forget that there are plenty of overused Japanese voice actors who use the same voice like Kugimiya Rie.
How do you know yet? Also if you want to argue about your objective superior tastes, I would recommend /mu/ to you, they are a sad bunch.
And what I really liked about the last Space Dandy soundtrack was that it was filled with actual tracks. Most anime osts have like one or two good songs and the rest might sound good when played in the show but has no real listen value on its own.
yeah, call me a hambeast all you want, but that soundtrack was fucking great
Zankyou no Terror
Some of Tokyo Ghoul
Some of SAO II
All had fantastic OSTs that I would argue are better than Dandy's soundtrack. And by the way, I never even said Dandy's soundtrack is bad. Just not the best.
You don't know shit about good music.
Stop complaining about shit you dont like and start talking about stuff you do enjoy.
>you will never be a guy whose life is so empty and sad that you feel the need to shitpost about a chinese cartoon you didn't like
I love how you can't even come up with a compelling argument other than a screencap of your shit show and telling me I have bad taste in music. Sorry I don't find disco/funk very appealing to the ear. I like music that makes my heart pounce and feel so in the moment and SD's soundtrack can't do that.
Probably because arguing about which music is better is one of the most stupid things you can do.
Keep also in mind that I was not the guy who originally stated that OST X is better than OST Y, but you.
Oh come on guys. Embrace the shitposting. That's the only way that's a Space Dandy can ever get pass the 100 posts after 3-4 days after it's finale, even though you guys spam like 2-3 of em each time.
Wasn't the entire point of dandy to reach an international audience, and they knew from the start they wouldn't get Japan? Hence reaching out to Funimation and Adultswim early on?
>blaming a show only mentioned once in the thread
>implying your not the dipshit
When you remember one scene that damaged but at the same time captivated you, most of the time the music is what carries that one scene. Certain songs will fuck you up in some beautiful way.
I was pretty hyped about this show when I saw the promo
in the end it was pretty meh
not bad but not really amazing either,
well I guess the loli and the space race episode were very good but the rest were so so.
SD gave me erectile dysfunction and diarrhea!
SD gave me AIDS and Ebola!
SD made me so angry, it made me yell at my kids, kick my wife, rub cheese on a basket full of kittens that I fed to a hungry dog!
>yfw America funds a new season like they did with Big O
>Do you feel good about yourself?
Feeling pretty Dandy, actually
The loli episode was the worst!
I'm glad that if anything, this show exposed /a/ for the loli, pedo, cesspool other boards say it is.
This place is too much for even /tv/ posters.
This scene had such amazing and fitting track. Even though it lasted for only 7 seconds it felt like 10 minutes for me.
I can't wait for whole OST release.
>it was made in Japan so the Japanese language version must be better
I know that bulge!
If someone didn't see that.
Don't cry. Life may end, but the Dandy things never stop coming, baby.
k-on is bland moe shit that try's to take your money and be a cash cow just for the money.
Damn your right.
Oh /v/ you never get old.
The jews of Adult Swim and Bones are probably rubbing their noses this very moment and try to figure out if they can cash in on them sweet murribucks with another season.
Not sure how they would handle a movie length plot, but I would definitely watcht it.
true, all anime now is shonen/moe in high school with most of the character being teens, allot of force and pointless fan-severs and shit sex jokes
The track that only played in episode one ending and sometime during episode 26 is my favorite. 2nd favorite was probably Viva All, that episode took the most shitty cliche concept and executed it really well.
>The track that only played in episode one ending and sometime during episode 26 is my favorite.
It's great if only because it made me remember episode 1 during episode 26 and made me appreciate it even more. Wasn't it on the first OST, by the way?
>Tokyo Magnitude 8.0, Gosick, Kurau Phantom Memory, Daughter of 20 Faces
>Eureka Seven, Soul Eater, Skull Man, Scrapped Princess
Don't have those, sorry.
Super Secret Chink Club
This one reminds me of Mother 3's soundtrack.
I think you just went from "mildly annoying shitposter" to "pants on head retarded".
>yfw the english dub was god tier and all the voice actors were actually really good
