this neet off during college break, spends his time watching anime/manga and browsing the web, when, while on a board he sees this thread asking people to make up a plot for a type of series. After scratching his head for a while, and thinking about it he decides why the hell not? and writes something off the top of his head. Soon the thread is flooded with replies from other posters showing amusement and appreciation towards his idea, they encourage him to write more, and he goes along with it since he has nothing better to do. eventually he gains worldwide recognition for his talent, as he goes to receive an award (or something) he gets accused of murdering his childhood friend. He gets a call from somebody willing to help his case, he begins to have a positive outlook, at the day of his trial he awaits his friend, but no one appears for him, he tries to ask the judge to wait for his friend, the judge objects saying there is no guy that called him and accuses him of stalling, the MC pleads one last time, BUT THEN WHO WAS PHONE?
Writefags tend to write short stories where the lewd is main point as fair as i seen, but Okayado was writing a manga, now mangas tend to focus on the story and the drawing, but Okayado decided to throw the story and character development out the window while focusing on the lewd
He attempts to continue living his average highschool life without being distracted by his studies, when he receives a short phone call from his overseas absentee father informing him that all the girls in his class are his sisters, including the teacher!
>Crossing Over. It inexplicably happened one day out of the blue, our MC heard her own voice within her mind, however it was not her usual voice but sounded enough like her very own. Over time the two talked and became very well acquainted with one another. The other voice ended up belonging to a version of the MC from an alternate timeline where she invites the MC to stay for a while to see how familiar yet different lives they lead but one day while returning back and ending up in the alternate world again our MC wonders whether or not her alternate self has ulterior motives after her mother finds her in a bathtub with a box of pills and alcohol.
>Pure Wizard Warrior. A lonely office worker is reaching his 30th birthday but then becomes the butt of all jokes after it is discovered he is a virgin within the workplace. That evening while moping about the situation in his bedroom, a ball of light crashes through his window, the light turns out to be a fairy who demands they immediately make a contract as the world is soon going to become in absolute peril. The only thing that will ultimately destroy the contract is if he loses his virginity-that includes getting kissed too. The MC's co-workers, feeling horrible for what they said and revealed to the office decide to try and get the MC laid in the meantime but they ignore his ramblings about the world being in peril as part of his otaku-shyness. Will our hero save the world while keeping his purity?
MC attends a school costume ball party, and he meets up with this chick dressed in an Etedli (sexy villainess from a current sentai show) costume where only her lips are visible. She gives him his first kiss, and it was an unforgettable one.
Like in Cinderella, he never sees her again and the only clue to her identity is her full lips and the facts that she's the same age as he is and attends the same school.
Now MC gathers a harem full of full-lipped beauties and he must at least get to first base with every one of them to find out which of them is the one who wore that Etedli costume that fateful night.

>>114672099 My premise was the protagonist awakens to find himself in hell. Having committed some kind of sin in his past life he's now supposed to be in hell to serve his penance. He wanders around a bit before meeting a demon and together they journey through the different aspects/layers of hell. together they encounter all sorts of weirdness and examine each aspect of eternal damnation. However before they can move on to the next layer, the protagonist must win a philosophical debate or question of morality before moving on
sort of like Dante's Inferno meets Kino's journey.

College student in Kyoto University undergoes an existential quarter-life crisis, and lives through various paths of idealized college lives as remediation for his perceived less-than-perfect lifestyle. After reliving various aspects of his experiences in college in different forms, he becomes disillusioned with his struggle for an exemplary tangible happiness. He shuts himself out of the outside world in his room, becoming stagnant. Little does he know true happiness comes from within the psyche, and not through any preconceived notion of a rose-colored campus life. He realizes this in the end, and in his own way finds happiness.
A Japanese soldier on an exchange with the American military while conducting join operations with a Canadian forces recon unit in the high arctic all step through a portal that takes them into a high magic world.
You have 2 Canadians, 1 American and 1 Japanese.
The Japanese soldier is the ranking NCO for the 4 man patrol, the American was a liaison officer that was just doing the field ex to show that he isn't a total desk job paper pusher. (So what you have was two hard core mofos looking after their American guest, who was in turn trying to look after the Japanese guest who likely had more in common with the Canadians than the desk jocky)
The world they are transported to more culturally like an edo period Japan than dark ages Europe.
They fall into the middle of a battle between a group of merc elves and your bog standard demon mooks, after turning the tide of the battle they join up with the elves for a lack of any other connection in the new world. Cue brown elf ladies, and the power of assault rifles and machine guns upgraded with magic.

it's shonen as fuck and I've been thinking about it for years, long before homestuck ever got to the ideas.
Guy has a small dick even by nip standards. It's like 3 inches. He is a beta faggot white knight virgin who gets pity sex from a female friend.
His dick grows by an inch and is slightly thicker after he ejaculates. A tattoo appears in really fine print on the base of his penis stating:
1. Every time you fuck a bitch, your dick grows longer.
2. Fucking a bitch twice don't count, only the first time for a different bitch.
3. Paying hoes don't count either
Guy starts his quest in getting bitches which involves office romance, clubbing, blackmail, rape, selling his body and experimenting with literal bitches.
His dick becomes really fucking big and has mad reputation, he ends up being captured by the military. He is told that he is the key to stopping the incoming alien invasion and that his dick is the symbol that he is the chosen one, incarnate of a great hero from a time long forgotten.

Might as well post it to get it over with. Manga edition.

While the two chase their respective loved ones, DRAMA ensues as they begin to fall in love with each other instead and question the NATURE of LOVE.

In a post-apocalyptic world, a mentally retarded little girl by the name of Eko happens to stumble upon a magical notebook that can make anything drawn in the book come to life. Despite the fact that life is drawn from the book, it appears in the world as it is drawn in the book.
Although slow, Eko has manages to understand what this notebook can do. She has drawn herself a big brother by the name of Kaz, an extremely crude drawing of a tall, broad, and always-smiling boy.
The anime follows along by following the travels of Eko and Kaz, Eko being unaware of the world's situation is extremely sad and has vowed to go around the world, painting and drawing the world back as it should be.
Along the way, of group of traveling survivors have noticed this trend of crudely drawn images appearing around their travels.
Without going too much into the conclusion, the survivors manage to find out about Eko and desperately try to catch her and take her notebook away from her to help 'recreate' the world.

It was once tradition for people to create sky lanterns, sending their prayers along up towards the heavens and hoping their messages would be answered. An app available for augmented reality devices renovates this ancient tradition: personal handwritten requests are now contained in virtual sky lanterns publicly released into the night sky.
People carrying AR devices, such as contact lenses, smartphones or glasses, can see these messages under the viewing options. The story follows two individuals encountering each other in a city, competing to answer these sky lanterns.
One of the individuals is a young woman volunteering for the recognition. She desires to improve her karma profile, a popular online trend designed to record and review altruistic actions. The second character is a heartbroken young man, answering the sky lanterns to cope with separation.
Discovering these motives fosters concern: the young woman realizes the young man is answering the sky lanterns to neglect the changes in his life. The young man recognizes the young woman is using the sky lanterns in hopes of being noticed and to avoid her vacant life.
As the two characters work together for certain requests, they begin to show their concern for each other, creating a bond that helps them cope with the separation and isolation in their lives.
In a post nuclear-apocalyptic United States, an experimental half-man-half-shark hybrid rides his motorcycle aimlessly along Route 66. He often has to stop for gas and supplies which usually leads to violent and sometimes sexual misadventures.
It's 1945 and the Nazi seem almost defeated, however when the allied troops invade Berlin Hitler makes use of his new weapon, Giant Aryan Robots, which can only be piloted by tall, blonde and blue-eyed children, however the Americans send in a guerrilla warfare team composed of 5 blonde, tall and blue-eyed children who then start to hijack the Nazi's mechs to fight the Nazi. Eventually they manage to for a resistance group with an English student who is good at chess, a Japanese boy who has unreal physical abilities and a white haired kid to whom the Nazi only refer to as the "One-Man-Army"
This is the story of a growing band of Christian resistance forces who bravely fight to liberate America from the infectious plague known as "Cultural Marxism".
The MC is a white American father who dreams of a protestant conservative world where his little girl can live a bright white future alongside other white children. One day, the father gets fired from his managing position at the BNY Mellon. At this point, the man had two options:
a) Bend over and ask the jews for a lower class job b) Fix the system
The father knew what he had to do. He quickly wrote a 1000 page manifesto and then he grabbed his holy weapon of choice (Remington). He walked up to the nearby synagogue and he smote down 15 jews. The jew run NYPD arrested the man and forced him into trial.
A band of wandering Templar Knights breaks through security and rescues the man. The man is offered a noble knight's position by Sir Payens of the American Patriot Templars. The man gladly accepts this position and proudly sports his iron cross armor. The band of warriors heroically slays the muslims, jews, asians, abos, gays, transsexuals, gypsies, blacks, indians, slavs, and all other non-whites to free Americans from the jewish liberal agenda.
Ben Bernanke recognizes this resistance movement and he begins to plan out a dirty jewish plot, by the end of the first episode, that would exterminate the beautiful and superior white race from this world.
Series liek Rose of Versailles or Ga Rei have shown that filler can be done with style and can be better than the original. Recently Jojo SC had some nice touches added via filler as well and I think early One Piece filler episodes partially enhanced the manga content as well.
However, bad filler arcs like in most longrunners ruin a lot.
There's a girl who's a slut and she NTRs her bf. and then. I dunno. I'm really high. She fucks a bunch of other dudes to cover up the lies or something? at one point the bf has to watch, and it's uncomfortable. idk
it would be josei because I think women like that stuff (right meghan?)
A college student resorts to enlisting her service to a crime organization to pay her tuition debt. They travel around the country digging up graves of wealthy private cemeteries, selling what they find to foreign interests. One night she digs up the grave of recently deceased little girl and robs the corpse of its locket.
What she experiences the next day terrifies her; she begins to see the mental subconscious thoughts of the people around her, taking visual art forms unique to the person’s personality. She first notices this with one of the members of the organization, radiating musical notes while listening to his smartphone.
She assumes she has gone insane with guilt for her crimes; the other members just think she’s just stressed out. The story focuses on the college student struggling to ignore her colleagues’ thoughts expressed in various art forms, as she tries to find a way to restore her perceptions by investigating the history of the locket and end its curse.
Haremshit with MC as a teenaged Japanese imperial soldier who somehow gains Hitler's supposed tsundere daughter, his nationalistic reverse trap childhood friend who dreamed of becoming a kamikaze pilot, an american-british general's daughter part of the still existing Allied resistance, and a filthy russian commie who didn't know the war was already over into his harem. Shenanigans ensue.
>>114672099 I like this because some of the most creative things I've ever read was from manga.
Twist on the "another world" genre, MC is a seemingly normal, everyday highschool student: he walks to school every day with his childhood best friend and secret crush, works a part-time job after school for an overbearing shopkeeper alongside the shopkeep's son and daughter, and coming home to his single mother who has raised him all her life.
He keeps going about his life until his 16th birthday, when he awakes amid a series of explosions in a futuristic laboratory with what looks like his mother wearing robotic prosthetics. She reveals that she is not his mother, nor a human; rather, she is an Overseer, a gynoid scientist tasked with preserving the last scraps of humanity in the wake of the War of the Downfall of Man. He is a clone, unenhanced, constructed of genetic fragments scrounged from across the planet who's entire life up to this point was a computer simulation. He is the only human being on the planet, and her new superweapon about to be thrown into battle with the last remaining superweapons of the post apocalypse. While the other Overseer's were corrupted in the course of the war creating unthinking monsters, robotic slaves, or inhuman mutant warriors, she was the only one who maintained belief in humanity's power to overcome. While he has no special powers as a normal human, he is the only being on the planet who can access the last cache of Prewar combat relics... but can they be enough?
A girl dabbles in the paranormal, and ends up being "chosen" by spirits who take her to their realm (which they've conveniently set up inside her mind) to be their queen. The entire world is formed by the girl's dreams and wishes, but is slowly eroded and made ugly as she finds out that her mind's creations is what the spirits feed on. Meanwhile, in her own realm, she's knocked into a coma. The twist is, all the exaggerated darkness and rot of her dream world is formed directly from the inconvenient truths of her "real" life, not anything spooky or "demonic" the spirits do. All they do is eat. Whether she wakes up or not, she suffers. When she realizes this, she splits into two personalities, the "asleep" her, the queen of that world, who knew all along, but doesn't care, continues supplying dreams and wants to continue the fantasy, and the "awake" her, who wants to put an end to it. The anime follows the "awake" MC's journey to kill her "sleeping" self, thus cutting off the spirits' food and forcing them to leave so she can return to reality. Is this okay?
The MC is lazy. The entire school is composed of ultra strong people. A rival school challenges this school to be strongest school in the district. Massive proxy battles all throughout.
The anime would be like Star Driver, battle of the week every week using crazy flashy techniques.
The twist is that the entire school of ultra strong people are very skilled in what they do, but in terms of actual power, are very weak.
And that the strongest person in the town is the MC, who's essentially in a contract with the entire school to let him continue his studies in peace so he can graduate, find a good job; meet a good wife and settle down.
As the story progresses, you have progressively stronger and stronger battles taking place until the big bad is revealed to be the leader of the rival school whom the MC falls in love with. He then becomes conflicted on whether he should give up his dream of a peaceful life for adventure and the woman he fell in love with, or abandon the love and continue on his path.
>World is split into two sides >The rich side and the poor side >Poor side is surrounded by a huge boarder >Group of lolis want a better life for themselves so they devise numerous schemes in order to break into the Rich side >Every episode is a Mission impossible type scheme in which the lolis work together in order to get past the ruthless Onee-sans that stand between them and freedom.
Anime is called ''My little boarder jumper can't be this cute''
Its a harem manga about an american badass exchange student who visits america and fucks: His new imouto, his new trap younger brother, a fit tomboy boxer, the slutty school class president, and many others i cant think of. What are some good cliche harem girls that i can add to this? I'm not a bad artist so I might do it as a joke, but I need a few more girls or it wont be a complete harem.
-Procedural drama of angels on patrol. Dealing with bureaucracy, demons run amok, guardian angels asleep on the job, etc. Gaiman/Pratchett-sque. Two Angels in particular, Samael and Jophiel (Sam and Joe) are our main characters. Starts off low stakes, getting bitched at by Archangels, threatened with guardian angel bitch duty, bustin' low level demons during stakeouts. They slowly uncover a ring of demonic corruption going up the chain, maybe all the way to the top.
A fifteen year old girl is neglected by her parents, starts spending time in the house of a single neighbor. The man gives in to temptation, and he commits statutory rape on the girl. He immediately leaves, swearing her to secrecy, but gives the neglected girl a keepsake of his... a lighter. The naive girl grew into a fine woman and teacher. She has had her share of relationships with students, but she still longed for her first love, albeit one rooting from what's legally considered as rape.
She ends up sleeping with a fifteen year old boy who looked just like her neighbor, committing the same sin as that other neighbor did, only to discover that the boy was hanging out with her because he was going through a painful divorce and was neglected by his parents... and his ex-smoker dad was actually the neighbor that the teacher had sex with all those years ago.
I posted this same shonen thing in an anime plot thread and someone told me to develop it more so I'm gonna post it here too and nobody will be able to stop me.
It takes place in a universe in which people and its later revealed in the story that it also happens outside of Earth obtain a superpower that reflects the opposite of their innermost desire, and manifests itself at a certain age. A theory suggests it happens when that desire is the strongest.
The nature of these powers became a source of mass discomfort in people, and eventually some rogue superpowered start to show up. Organizations were created in order to help the superpowered humans and try to keep them in check. Some of these organizations have their own agendas, however, such as one of the two giants, S.S., is experimenting with altering and creating their own superpowers.
The main characters all meet together due to cirumstances related to either the rogue superpowered or the security organizations.
>10 year old kid who wants to be noticed by others and has the power of becoming invisible. He was saved by a rogue superpowered when a tsunami struck his town and he was trapped under debris.
>16 years old highschooler who just wants to live a quiet and lazy life and has the power of absolute concentration. He was in love with a classmate who became a rogue superpowered, but was kidnapped by someone.
>14 years old athlete who wants to be the fastest runner and has the power of becoming completely still. Her coach is a reformed rogue superpowered and also her parental figure after both of her parents left to work for the security organizations.
>A 24 years old art student who has the power of erasing people's five senses. Her father was a sculptor who was wrongly labelled a rogue superpowered and taken into custody by a security organization.
Organization-related people will go in the next post.
>>114675035 It's somewhere on moe archive. The summary of it is just that some artist anon was asked by the author to draw a cover for his potential novel, only for the author to rescind his request because the publisher wanted to change the ending and the ethnicities of the main characters. The author rejected these changes, they didn't go through with novel and now it's just an unfinished copy pasta that the author chooses to leave be.
A young Observer roams around the City with a family heirloom – a strange Augmented Reality device – a parting gift from his late mother. These AR devices have an extraordinary feature of being able to perceive Portrait Venues within the City: landscapes created from the inner psyches of the City’s populace.
The Observer visits Portrait Venues in turmoil, hoping to ease the suffering of those who created such domains. One night he stumbles upon a Portrait in total despair, one that belongs to a Childhood Friend he has fallen for – a wistful young woman who often expresses her views of society in a coyly manner.
Through the AR device, the Observer discovers her true character. Suffering from depersonalization disorder, the Childhood Friend is convinced the world isn’t real, feeling emotionally separated from her surroundings, people, and herself. Hoping to convince her that the world is real, her concerned friend reveals to her the Portrait Venues.
By confronting these Portraits, the Childhood Friend is convinced this world is imaginary, and that the Observer is the designer of this fictional reality. She plans to kill him, believing this act will free her from this dream, while the Observer travels various Portrait Venues to avoid this fate.
The narrative explores the nature of reality and the cost of confronting the unconscious identity.
>>114676360 >30 years old S.S. employee, formerly an expert construction worker, who has the power of destroying structures on touch. He was employed by the organization after the birth of his power caused a building to collapse and kill his best friend.
>18 years old college student, who is also an aspiring novelist, and has the power of keeping hers and other's minds completely blank. She is the daughter of an S.S. employee and ends up working for the organization after a rogue superpowered attack ends up destroying her college.
>9 years old kid who deeply loves and cares for animals and has the power of turning them violent. She was taken in by the organization due to her power activating in a local zoo, and is being trained by an security organization employee (not S.S.) who has the power to calm animals in order to keep her in check.
>16 years old masochist who has the power to not feel pain. He repeatedly attempts to join the S.S. in order to seek for rogue superpowered who can cause him a pain beyond what his power can manage.
MC is a cute Japanese high school girl who seems perfectly normal, but has a pastime nobody else knows about: she is a serial killer who obsessively photographs the corpses of those she murders. That is, until one day when someone beats her to the punch - and what's more, the culprit left behind a certain "message" that only MC is able to understand. It seems another serial killer knows the truth about her secret "hobby", and wants little more than to play with her...
>>114677283 Eventually, these two groups of superpowered people end up meeting, and are at odds with each other due to their circumstances. Soon enough the S.S. manages to create the first custom superpower, after years of development and experimentation kept under wraps even to its own employees. Through the introduction of SAM, an android in which the custom superpower was given, S.S. starts its road towards complete control of all superpowered, and both groups of main characters end up joining forces against SAM, and eventually an army of similar androids with the same superpower.
Most of the time, in fiction, we treat identity as just a series of traits. This character has blue hair, glasses, and is shy. That one has red hair, twintails, and is angry. That sort of thing. As a set of minor details, things you can swap out easily, mix and match. But it's not. Little details can affect so much of how a person grows and develops! It's exactly as you say. Social status determines your lifestyle, mentality, and behaviour! How can two girls be identical if they're so different?
The answer is, they're not. You can't mix and match people like that. The story would detail how both characters eventually come to that realization.
The Earth has been left a boiling sphere of gases and molten lava for thousands of years by this point. In the past, an object that was traveling relativistically passed straight through the core, creating a second moon and destroying all life. Thankfully, humanity had already established life in space through the use of gravity manipulation before that occurred, settling around the Earth's orbit. Because of this gravity manipulation, it has left all of humanity who have lived on those colonies with the ability to manipulate their life energy separately from their body, slowly pulling it apart from them over time, giving them psychic abilities. As fuel resources diminished, researchers discovered a way to use this ability to pilot humanoid frames--basically a mecha that their energy inhabits like a ghost to fly through space.
In the present, the Earth's orbit has been split among three empires: the moon, the second moon, and an empire that inhabits the outer edge of the orbit past the second moon. In the orbit closer to the Earth, there are fortresses and city-states separate from the empires. The MC lives on one of these and is a fortress guard, and is one day tasked with clearing out some pirates from a nearby asteroid cavern with his team. Little did they know that they were stockpiling nuclear weapons. War breaks out among the entire populace. The pirates end up collapsing quickly, but corrupt politicians in the outer edge of the orbit take this as an opportunity to enslave the city-states after they occupied them to fight off the pirates. The MC enlists in the resistance to protect his home, and a war that will ravage everything begins.
She tucks her blowpipe into her belt and takes several uncertain steps towards you, trying to appear winning – flirtatious even – despite her grimy appearance and clear inexperience with the matter. "Please, will you help me? You said something about being a champion – if you lay with me and help me bring more of my people into this world, free of the demons and untouched by their perverse taint, you will be striking another kind of blow against their corrupt stranglehold on Mareth."Sheepishly, you look down at the ground and confess that as much as you might like to help, that's actually impossible.Amily looks hurt. "Why?" she demands desperately.Highly embarrassed but unable to think of a way to articulate it, you drop your pants and let her see the flat and featureless expanse of flesh that is your crotch.Amily's eyes bug out, her jaw falls slack and she stares at you, clearly gobsmacked. Then she spits a stream of incoherent, dumbfounded profanities. Finally, she shakes her head. "Well... that's a new one. I guess... it makes sense. Damn, just when you thought you'd seen it all. I suppose I should go now," she tells you and turns to leave. She stops, however, just before rounding a wall. "There's this stuff you'll find in bottles called Incubus Draft. If you drink that, it'll make you a boy - but I'd find an alchemist first, so he can remove the corruption from it."She continues walking away. After she has vanished, though, another musing drifts back to you. "There's also this stuff called Succubus Milk you can do the same thing with, if you want to be a girl."
A story of an /a/non whose deadline for his light novel is coming up. He can't think of an idea for it so he goes on an adventure to figure it out. On his journey though, he realizes some bullshit and everyone says congratulations to him while the plot of the novel never gets resolved until the /a/non makes a new novel that has more bullshit DEEP stuff. So he decides to make some Rebuild novels about it instead and ends up building peoples hopes by taking a hundred years to make them, but in the end, they'll suck just as much as the original.
the goal is powerlevels, ridiculously over-the-top fights, generic theme, but a plethora of bittersweet or otherwise depressing ends, the good ends only being achievable after sitting through the bad ones, and the true end being the last unlockable.
The setting is a post-apocalyptic world where the world's resources are nearly all consumed, and humans turn to scavengers looking for water and edible scraps. Organizations spring up to keep the humanity, but only one is vaguely successful.

MC-kun is a 17-y/o teenager that lost his parents 10 years ago. After living with his uncle and his aunt for some time, he finally moves to another city to live alone and goes to a new school. He's pretty much bored about everything, so he's really calm and serious. In his new school, he meets RandomGirl, and they become friends easily on the first day. RandomGirl is really cute and friendly, without a reason. After a month, they start dating.
After a week, on his way home, MC-kun is killed on the streets by RandomGirl, only to wake up on a strange house the next day. RandomGirl explains the situation; MC-kun was destined to die on an accident, but he was killed by RG instead. Why? There was a huge accident that took the life of 100 children some years ago, but God tried to give them another chance. They had until -1 year after the current events- to hunt and kill 1000 Monsters (I don't know how to name them) or else, they'll die again. RG's objective is to kill and raise a team of killers, to hunt these monsters and raise her points. One monster is 1 point, so she needs to kill 1000, and they become stronger every day. But there's a trick; if you kill other children that were on the accident, you gain 100 points. Now, all of these children are trying to kill each other. RG will raise a team to kill all of them and gain her own salvation; a selfish wish. With every person she kills before their original death, she wins a new zombie-ally, someone who's stronger than any normal human, at the cost of their life. She will hunt innocent lives of people like MC just to kill her old friends.
"You will help me take back my life, right? I'm your girlfriend after all! 'till death do us part!
the MC is an average high school kid until a girl crashes on him on his way to school as well as transfers there
first act is your typical haremshit as he deals with the mysterious girl that is actually a refugee that came to run away from an Empire posed to destroy the world, using alien technology the MC fights against the horrible Empire while trying to sort through High School and deal with the love interest
only he fails and the alien wipes out most of the planet, including the harm and the love interest
Act II begins with the MC reappearing 10 years later to build an army, reconquer the Earth, and take revenge against the Alien Scum
A man has the ability to make any two people who he can coerce into willingly shaking hands immediately and completely understand each other. However, the power doesn't work on him and anyone he shakes hands with.
He travels the world using this ability to resolve conflicts from the mundane to the apocalyptic.
Early on, he does this as a philanthropist, but after years of engrossing himself in his work, painstakingly getting to know and becoming quite invested in each of his two targets, only to have them immediately forget him in favor of each other when they finally shake hands, he has become bitterly cynical and lonely. He hires the ability out the highest bidder.
He has the ability to make people understand each other, but not to make others understand him.
Tragic past: one of the first situations in which his ability manifested was when he introduced his wife to an old (male) childhood friend. They shook hands upon meeting when he introduced them, and immediately became engrossed with each other and both abandoned him.
He tries to keep a low profile, and nobody really understands his ability or the role he plays in the conflicts he solves... except for one astute (and uncommonly attractive) female NEET with an eye for detail who begins to piece together his role in it all. She becomes obsessed with him, and yearns to understand him as deeply as he makes others understand each other.
MC used to work for a courier service in a small town until his employer recently passed away. While helping his boss' family sort through his items, MC finds a letter addressed to his now deceased boss. After inspecting the contents, MC decides to embark on an adventure that takes him away from his town for the first time on a journey to fulfill this request. However, as MC reaches the destination, he only finds another letter, this time with a different request. As MC follows these individual letters, each request gets more and more serious, even up to a point where there is a pistol tape to an envelope and a list of names. Soon the mystery behind the letters involves MC with mafia affairs and conflicts that spark within towns, which soon test his will to continue with his journey. In his quest, he will develop and broaden his horizons, and meet people as he struggles to find the mystery behind the letters.
>boy moves to new school >bumps into girl >usual SoL bullshit for 5 pages >after school the boy is walking home >hears a gunshot down an alley >checks >sees the girl from earlier with a glock looking at a dead body >she tells him she'll kill him if he tells anyone >hijinks
A battle shonen where the MC is your average middle school boy. One day, he is randomly chosen by aliens to represent the human race. He is given a list of all the major lifeforms on Earth, and is told that he has to kill one of each on his own in order to prove that humans are the dominant species worthy of representing the planet in interplanetary affairs. It starts with the MC killing small insects and the like, but later he is forced to go to other countries to kill animals that don't live in Japan, and by the end there are long arcs about him attempting to kill bears and jaguars and shit.
Really powerful creatures come out during the day time and instinctively hunt down humans, so humanity is forced underground to live like that. I want it to focus on inverting alot of common symbolisms, like how light (daytime and sunshine) is typically a good, welcoming and warming thing, but now it's the most terrifying thing to humans and should be avoided at all costs. Dreary weather like rain becomes great and everyone loves it because it means the surface is safe during the daytime, and they have more time collect food from limited farms, and build stuff like wind turbines that can operate without human supervision during the day, providing energy to the populace below. I only thought of it recently so I'm not deadset on character or plot ideas.
Futuristic mining colony on a distant planet, first arc focuses on a man wrongfully accussed of crimes and put to work in the open pit mine. They mine the magic blue glowy energy/substance that's just great for everything, from fueling spaceships to supplying electricity to a city, etc. The mine is mostly operated by convicted criminals; space life is hard and putting criminals in jail to do nothing all day isn't an effective use of potential labor. The guy gets roped into becoming the leader of a big prison break/revolution. A few important characters later on are introduced non-chalantly. Someone leaked info to a higher up in the military, who interrupts the prison break, and the guy is unceremoniously shot to death on the spot. The story continues in an arc structure that focuses on a different main character each time, always from very different points of view. First a prisoner who hopes to change the world and prove himself innocent. Then maybe the daughter of an authority figure. An aging general. A freelance artist. Sometimes they die at the end of their arc, sometimes they don't, I actually want the readers to not be content with the MC's plot armor, so that character actions actually give tension even if the MC's being a heroic idiot. In the background for most of it, humanity is at war with an alien species that uses the blue fuel stuff as sustenance, so they've been trying to capture this planet for its vast reserves. The war is won mostly off-screen, but it turns out there's a huge eldritch leviathan thing living inside the planet that the mining operations have awoken. The main draw is the multiple MCs changing every arc, but is the setting interesting enough to support that?
>boy moves to new town >parents are sick/dead/distant/on hols >goes to new school >girls of various personalities fall in love with him >rival from a poor/broken family becomes bff >several lol - awkward situations later it ends and nothing changes
MC is some stone age guy who made a deal with the devil, he exchanges his soul so that the tribes(they're at war) could unite and be in peace. The devil takes his soul and disappears without a trace.
So everything is now peaceful, the only catch is that the MC cannot die. He sees all of his loved ones, children etc die before him. He makes the decision to travel all around the earth to find the devil again.
During his search, the MC will be present and inevitably play a part is many of the world's major historical events such as the fall of the Roman empire, the rise of Oda Nobunaga, Kennedy assassination etc.
He will start off as a moralfag trying to prevent disasters from happening but it happens anyway so later on in the series he starts to not care for humanity and just wants to watch the world burn.
Show ends with him floating alone in space, trying to remember his own name.
An ancient slutty succubus decides to mess with two guys who she instantly assumes are virgins because of how uninterested they are in her when she meets them at a college party. After getting irritated with one guy not getting aroused after giving him a lapdance, she gives both him and his friend a hex. The hex makes a guy keep a boner forever until he either 1) fucks the girl that gave him said boner which is temporary or 2) breaks the hex forever by fucking the succubus who placed it in the first place. However, the supposed MC couldn't care less as he's asexual. But soon, he gathers a harem regardless made up of rule 63 versions of Hitler, Stalin, and Osama thanks to the succubus as well as other historical figures like Joan of Arc and Cleopatra. Most of the sheniangans that ensue will come from either the MC rejecting all the girls' advances or his friend (who's portrayed as the usual mostly ignored sidekick of a harem series) getting the most massive amount of blueballs from his harem. The series ends with the MC's friend dumping 3 years' worth of semen into the succubus while the MC gets a blowjob from her with a slight gain on his face, which is the only time we ever see him smile ever in the manga. All illustrations are done by Hiro Mashima.
Name one open collab thing that was finished and took more effort than badly singing into a mic for 2 minutes. Doesn't even have to be good, just finished. Katawa Shojo doesn't count, because that wasn't open at all.
People will get bored, all the conflicting ideas will clash, more talented/egoistic people will get mad at the shitty works of shitty contributors, and so on - as it has always been
And even if it finishes, it will be full of memeshit, then falls into obscurity. /v/ had tons of that crap, like the /v/gas or Tropes versus Men, all of them turned out to be horrible. Thankfully /a/ was free of that, but the /b/ and reddit spirit came up here as well, eh?
Typical SoL harem anime protagonist is constantly operated operationally out of typical harem bullshit things (i.e. bitch running late with toast in the mouth gets intercepted) by a cadre of bros who've seen enough, lead by the true protagonist who is revealed at the end of episode one, Best-Friend-With-Glasses-kun.
Eventually the harem may start to catch on, but they're playing catch-up against these highly skilled experts of high school gorilla warfare.
Guy (27) commits suicide after being screwed over by his now ex-wife.
He dies but after intense pain returns to before he was married around 4 years..
Decides to get revenge on her, proceeding to kill her after giving her a mental breakdown as he was at that time having a great relationship with her.
He tries to run but is eventually caught by his ex-wife's younger sister in her quest for revenge. He later finds out that the same thing happened to her as she also committed suicide.
More and more mysterious murders are popping up and rich people going wild, MC is broken out of jail by someone hiring people, realising the employer also went back in time he tries to find out what is actually happening.
>>114684145 But that's for readers, not for MC, isn't it? And not deliberately sabotaged. It could be like this: the whole school is swarming with harem-MC, their best friends, and a whole bunch of girls for every harem-MC. And best-friends-for-comedic-relief-kuns organize club dedicated to cockblock every attempt to establish harem for any harem-MC while maintaining their friendship with them. But after awhile they get clashed with another club dedicated to make harems successful. And after a while they begin attempt to turn tables, and made those best-friends-for-comedic-relief-kuns into harem-MC instead.
>Go to Japan. >Find an Artist. >Convince Shounen Jump to let me, an American, write a manga with a Japanese artist. >Bakuman inspired manga about making manga. >Be about American moving to Japan on his dream of writing Manga for Shounen Jump. >Write with a pseudonym so people don't know he's American and someone else does the art. >Towards the end, have an arc where people find out he's American. >Reveal myself as American. >"What a twist!"
MC is an extreme narcissistic girl who is in love with herself. One day, she slipped when taking the stairs and crashed into a random boy. Their souls are swapped and the MC is now in the boy's body and the boy is now in MC's body. Since the MC is a super narcissist, she will constantly try to get the boy(in MC's body) to have relationship with MC. There will be some difficulties as the boy actively tries to avoid the MC and the boy's childhood friend will also sabotage the MC's plans.
Constant sexual advances everywhere and insert gratuitous amount of fan service.
A group of friends in their early twenties are members of a jazz band together and are beginning to gain a small amount of notice and fame in the local music scene. They have to juggle between living the regular sociable lives of young adults, and achieving their dream of becoming famous musicians. All while moonlighting as monster investigator/hunters for a hidden government Agency that they joined after an incident in their teens that caused the death of a close friend.
I don't have any coherent plot, only a bunch of outlines.
Thousands years ago Sun vanished for no apparent reason (I couldn't think of any). No one was able determine what happened. It returning time to time for one day without any particular pattern, but its was happening less and less until there was times when some one or another generation of people didn't see Sun at all it their lifetime. But Moon was still visible, and it became new Sun, and night became day. MC was born at one of those days when real Sun was in sky. In those thousands of years humanity science reached it's peak and now slowly declining, while descendants live off of those achievements, no longer truly gasping how they works. People now live in (mostly isolated) Megacities under giant domes which provide light, for Moon still have it phases, and there's not enough light from it anyway. Science, unable to provide explanation for Sun disappearance, with passing centuries became close to religion. After some decades/centuries when Sun vanished (and a couple of world wars happened), some nutjobs from different radical green organizations, like Greenpeace, begin attempting to save animals which were becoming extinct at fast rate with genetic engendering, trying to create animal-human hybrids. Hom much of them succeed is not known (any form of real-time communication is difficult to establish for same unknown reasons), but in Megacity where living MC, there's some ghettos with cat-people (~50% - see picture). Those mutants almost don't have compatibly with normal humans, but rare cases happens, and MC one of those rare breed, though in her case she looks like human (so no nekomimi and such).
MC is an absolutely average High School student. In fact, MC is perfectly average in every conceivable way. However, due to hilarious circumstances, the MC manages to find himself steadily growing a harem! Naturally, MC is too dense to see the multiple women fighting over him, or even possibly even understand the situation he's in. It's like a dream come true except for one little problem: due to MC's perfect storm of harem traits, his harem seems to have no limit on size and continues growing steadily. MC is too dense to see the monster he is creating as the harem eventually engulfs the entire female body and starts drawing in completely unrelated women from outside the school. The entire country is sent into a state of panic as every woman, young or old, is assimilated into the megaharem. The gigaharem has no stops. The world is horrified, their attempts to stop the absorption of all women on earth fall flat as vaccines prove useless to the seemingly magic magnitism MC possesses and assassinations are thwarted by MC's classic obliviousness and plot armor. The hyperharem eventually consumes all, leaving only the men to live the rest of their lives without the opposite sex. MC, still somehow too fucking dense/ beta to make a move on any of the billions of women at his disposal dies a virgin. The ultraharem dies in unison moments later, due to unfathomable, existential grief.
Humanity has finally come to it's logical conclusion.
