From the PVS, it seems like F/SN is using lighter outlines of the characters than in F/Z.
Naw, the newer character designs have more life to them. And the females have more than one facial shape.
She was much cuter when she was young
I managed to get it to work.
Does this confirm Taiga Dojo's for Previews?
I fucked up.
I want my Taiga dojo's dammit, I doubt Ufotable would fuck up and not give it to us but I had doubts.
Did Taiga's boobs get bigger? Sure does seem that way.
If anything I was lurking through the PV for random screenshots.
>Making sure it is not as grim as F/Z
>Looks like they are going to doing all the comical scenes
>Shirou is no longer DEEN Shirou
>Guy in charge of Mahoyo OST doing this
>Animation looks Sakuga as fuck
Ufotable finds a way
>Sexualizing a Tiger
>Wanting to have sex with a Tiger
No Taiga is only for taking care of and being a Onee-chan.
>not wanting to sexualize the Taiga in lewd vanilla doujins where she wins the Shirou
Sucks we only really get it only in the first 3 days and once in the actual route.
At least we see Shirou wear his apron talking to Rin.
I would like to see her try and win the Archer.
Fuji-nee must have been pissed that Shirou grew so much while she wasn't looking, got a tan and dyed his hair. Well she believes that anyway.
Yeah. Screw Tmitter! It's just a bunch of bull hockey!
When will you stop being a faggot anon?
She needs to uncorrupt him and even Archer wouldn't be able to handle her.
Guys it just occurred to me
>Kotomine loves Mapo Tofu
>He has a daughter with white hair and yellow eyes
Fate/Angel Beats when?
Fucking secondaries. Fuck you anon. I am happy I keep adblock on.
Give me a prequel of Taiga and Shirou.
I want Taiga, what do I do?
If anything Archer would know what road Fuji-nee would go down and try to reform her himself.
>When he was alive he couldn't control Fuji-nee
>Given a second chance to do it as Archer
>Still is unable to control her
>He ends up still babying her
>Archer patrolling alone
>detecting strange killing intent, investigate
>find drunk Taiga wobbling alone
>damn it, idealism aside he can't abide by letting a woman walk the empty night streets alone and vulnerable
>screw it, might as well take her home
>land next to her, she's mumbling something
>can't hear it, lean closer
>Fuji-nee is a decendant of the gold man.
>Willingly having sex with a woman
No, see Cu was a womanizer. What Gil did was use his kingship to just bed every woman he felt like. And with that "every woman getting married must spend a night with him" law, that's a lot of women.
Gil sure does know how to fuck around.
>Nothing in the plot gets resolved and everything is left in an endless holding pattern—most notably the battles and the progression of the tournament.
I know it's Kotaku. But it's honestly horrible.
It feels like clickbait, but it's worse because it looks like he is serious.
>know it's Kotaku.
>It feels like clickbait
Because it's Kotaku, it IS. Everything they publish is.
They only do it to try to pander to the lowest common denominator.
They wrote shit on SAO multiple times and never did one article about Log Horizon which follows MMO elements much better.
>I am so invested in the characters that I'm going to have to continue working through the franchise—despite hearing around the web that it’s all downhill from here.
This has to be bait. That quote alone is cringeworthy on so many levels I can't even
Fuck, he is probably the filthiest secondary i've ever seen.
Stopped reading right fucking there.
>One full episode is spent in a side story following Rin (one of the main characters in the sequel series Fate/Stay Night)
I've had enough.
>To contact the author of this post, write to [email protected] or find him on Twitter @BiggestinJapan.
And that's what I'll do right fucking now. I must do it before this rage disappears.
That episode was great though, and one of the highlights of the show for me personally. Either way I can see why they thought it was a good idea to implement it, and they argued for it quite well in that thing that was printed.
But I had already read F/SN and F/Z, so to get something that was actually new and actually added new content, as opposed to just seeing yet another part re-told, was a highlight to me provided how it was sparingly used.
I am probably going to enjoy those tiny bits Nasu mentioned that he wrote for the UBW anime too.
>people like this faggot will always believe Zero was Urobuchi's alone great idea that fixed the Fate franchise for eternity
Fuck you ufotable for adapting this first.
Fuck you DEEN for fucking up Fate and UBW.
Fuck everything. At the end of the day, the only thing that got a decent adaptation is Prisma Illya.
I lost my shit at that beret.
god damn it get your shit together Shirou
I know right?
Sakura got the best treatment out of all the main heroines from Ufotable
Yeah, they do a good job with her. It's a shame they can't make everybody look that good, though.
Last 3 days of HF = UBW > Shit > Fate > Rest of HF
Sparks Linier High = UBW True > MoS > Continuation of a Dream > HF Normal > Shit > LE > HF True.
HF Kotomine > Fate Kotomine > UBW Kotomine
UBW Shirou > HF Shirou > Shit > Fate Shirou
Lancer = Archer > Rider > Beserker > True Assassin > Saber > Caster > Shit > Assassin
Kotomine > Gil > Illya > Rin = Ayako > Taiga > Shit > Saber > Sakura
Prove me wrong.
You are trying to start shit.
Here is what always happens
-Normal discussion thread
-Someone post why does xxx sucks/why is xxx the best route/xxx can kill xxxx
-Devolves the thread
-Thread is killed
EVERY FUCKING THREAD
And people don't learn from this
>UBW Shirou > HF Shirou > Shit > Fate Shirou
Fate Shirou > HF Shirou
>Sparks Linier High = UBW True > MoS > Continuation of a Dream > HF Normal > Shit > LE > HF True.
That one is atleast partialy retarded.
For example why do you include Bad Ends?
I'm not hating on it. It's alright as a bad end, I guess. But it is no way better than any of the real endings (even UBW Good) and if you legitimately believe it is then you're retarded. The same kind of applies to SLH, but that's such a neat scene that I'm willing to overlook it.
If that's true then why is
Saber actually the best?
Both ends are superior enough that they get mentioned. Lurk through some more threads and you'll see Sparks should have ended HF and MoS > All.
MoS only gets as much attention as it does because people don't like Sakura and she dies in it. It has very little to do with the actual quality of the ending. You're the one who needs to lurk more.
It just hit me that Shirou living with Saber,Rin,Sakura,Ilya and Taiga must be hell on earth. 2 of them are slightly crazy in love with him, one of them might actually eat him if he doesn't feed her,one of them is so tech dumb she might end up blowing up the house and finally there's the violent one who likes smacking him around with a bamboo stick every once and a while.
Not that anon but you clearly weren't around where everyone was blammering about how the MoS end gives the most potential of how much Shirou is willing to sacrifice for his ideals? If Kotomine's prophecy would come true and how will he achieve it? You must understand some think that MoS is only popular because we hate Sakura, well that's mostly true, but it holds the potential to a Shirou similar to what Archer became in his timeline.
Yes but he is still the luckiest son of a bitch in the world
and he deserves it
People discuss that shit because MoS gets so much attention, not because of the ending's merits. That's not to say it would never, ever get discussed if it weren't for what happened to Sakura, though. I suspect it would come up every once in awhile. After all, it's the only bad end I can think of where Shirou survives and keeps fighting. I can see that generating some interest from time to time. But Sakura is definitely the reason it's as big as it is in these threads.
>but it holds the potential to a Shirou similar to what Archer became in his timeline.
Jesus christ, those smiles are fucking horrible.
HF Shirou looks scared of something. I wonder who it is.
This is pretty much his life in that hollow ara- whatever game isn't it? he fucked all 3 of them yet it's still a harem situation I think he even tagged them all again in that game as well. .
>Dat new Shirou
I need that fucking jacket, it's awesome.
Hopefully he won't wear it all the time though. I like the jacket, but it does not suit Shirou. Shirou's raglin T-shirt may be boring, but so is Shirou. He doesn't have any interests. His simple shirt and jeans fit his character. The stylish jacket does not. If anything, he'd wear a hoodie.
Dat Taiga, gotta lve how much she messes with Shirou in this route. I recently went through the bit were he gets Shirou to admit to liking Taiga, man she really knows how to bring out the Tsundere in Shirou.
>4-5 years until BDs for the second movie.
You mean that he referred to it as the sequel instead of the original? Yeah, that's awful but that's Kotaku for you.
People have kept bitching about the Rin episode ever since it aired though.
>If Rin tries to ____ Caster, I'll ____ her first.
Shirou has his priorities straight.
I love Saber and consider her an amazingly strong character, but you do have to recognize this is after she's clashed with the Gate of Babylon five times (Gil does not have Knowledge of Respect and Harmony, so yes, familiarity with the Gate diminishes its effectiveness, even if only slightly because the danger is the unknown weapons more than the explosive arrows themselves) AND is armed with her most powerful noble phantasm, and Gil is unaware of that fact (which, in servant battles, is how Noble Phantasms are meant to be used).
In other words she beats Gil when many, many things are going in her favor. Most of which is Avalon.
Avalon requires her to call out it's name to shift her into the realm of the fae.
She is still vunerable if she either misses the timing, runs out of mana to use it or gets suprised.
If she has Avalon and her opponent doesn't know about it, you mean.
Gilgamesh can simply sit back and Gate of Babylon her into the ground. That's all he needs to do to win. If he knew she had Avalon, an instant counter to Enuma Elish, he simply wouldn't use it.
The hell are you , I would say your a secondary but your question is completely weird that even that doesn't describe it. Let's just say it's a major point in FSN why that's a bad idea, It's even stated to be a bad idea in Zero.
>look how happy rider and gil are
And look how they paid for their own happiness. The former gets wrecked to hell and back by Ea and Gil gets his shit slapped by a red-haired ginger nip with PTSD AND gets out-slav'd.
Because that's like saying water is wet.
But saying water is wet is the same as saying Sir Gawain is best Saber. I am happy my king knows the facts.
People with no taste cannot comprehend why Sir Gawain is best Saber, and thus you have no taste.
What Gil, you can't accept the fact that your waifu's happily sucking off the ginger who beat you in a fight?
>Fate would have been 10x better if Gil had been a girl
Galahad and Bedivere a shit, almost as worse as that traitor faggot Lancelot, Sir Gawain is miles superior and thus Best saber. Was Galahad Saber? No. Was that traitor Lancelot Saber? No and never will be. Was that failure as a knight who let the king die Saber? Never in a million years. Sir Gawain is the only true, best Saber. Only nameless cowards like yourself would slander the great name of Sir Gawain.
Shirou should have summoned FemGil instead of that failure as a king.
Pretty much man.
It's not slander if its true. Galahad is truly the best. He did what no other knight could. Also anyone with a knightly code is able to become a Saber class. Galahad just hasn't been summoned because "The guy that got the Holy Grail" would break the story.
Gawain is only good when he's sunbathing which shows a distinct lack of class becoming of a knight.
1. Carnival Phantasm with fate/zero and f/sn as the main focus as well as other fateverse characters in small doses 24 episodes.
2. Hollow/Ataraxia anime with eclipse stories all animated. SoL 12 episodes.
Galahad is a mongrel who stole my treasure, even if it isn't in my posession it belongs to me. Someone should summon that mongrel, I need to teach him the pain of stealing from the one, true king.
it's never been done in tv anime so it's new enough, why is it wrong that i'm faithful? i haven't dumped her for a flavor of the month girl in the last 6 years so i think that's good.
Galahad is a thief who stole the Holy Grail instead of winning it in fair combat. He should be ashamed of himself.
Why would the Whore of Uruk outshine the brightest, sunniest servent and best Saber?
>ever not being a mad dog and a traitor
>sharing with rider
She's a bitch who doesn't get the point of mana transfers
This depresses me more than never being able to bed any of the TM girls
That was that failure Bevidere, besides I have to go get ready for the UBW premire, I have to watch my glorious king on the silver screen. Let us meet again Nameless Cowards.
It's best route for everyone except Sakura.
What if Shirou misunderstood Kiritsugu when he said "I'm relieved"?
This, I never really hated Sakura until HF.
I never really liked her until HF
somehow watching her all flustered and jealous when Rin is implanting her crest in shirou is fucking cute.
Jealous and clingy girls are miracles of the universe.
But if you hadn't had forced Arthur to take revenge on Lancelot, Mordred would've never had the chance to take power. There's also the fact that you lost to Lancelot, like three times.
If it was canon part of her skillset she'd come summoned with it no matter what, like invisible air.
That's not accurate
Servants don't come with everything they had in life in the first place. It just picks the ones with the closest attachment or attachment to that class, considering she lost it in life they weren't that close on the list.
Awfully written character even the piece of crap known as Saber is better written in the Fate route then Sakura's story getting so horrible it turns around and becomes annoying. like how people get sick of hearing about a relative's health issues.
Kiritsugu using the Emiya gland on Zecchan? I can't say I'm for this
Did Rin become Emiya Rin or Shirou became Tohsaka Shirou?
Rider is the only servant who gets shafted in that route. People who only watched F/Z are going to find it strange that Kotomine dies like a bitch in the anime.
I hope they get around to doing a Fate Adaption sometime, the story just doesn't feel balanced unless all three routes are present.
Oh god, that would be awkward as hell. Though I'd guess Shirou would probably marry into the Tohsaka line because the Emiya line has been pretty much disgraced and Rin would probably point out that as a magus her last name holds very mild weight
Not at all, but you're certainly assuming a lot in "No, she'd surely have it if summoned normally, 100%. Also she'd have Caliburn and that one magic spear"
In truth no one knows, but Prototype Arthur was summoned normally and has the same skillset as this Arthur if you want to call that a point of reference. You really don't come with everything you had in life, unless she was summoned in England or had more than just an exceptional master.
When nobody's ever wanted you the idea of being wanted 24/7 is very appealing.
that's why Caster is my favorite followed by sakura.
He character in Fate and UBW was the Kouhai with a crush on her sempai who comes over and helps her sempai. In HF her character when into a Oh-Woe-Is-Me and I need my man to save me kinda girl, which really pissed me off. I was hoping she would at least hold her own normally not as Dark Sakura.
>because the Emiya line has been pretty much disgraced and Rin would probably point out that as a magus her last name holds very mild weight
Like he cares that it was disgraced, he doesn't care about that magus shit, he just knows that this is the name his father gave him.
He wouldn't throw it away because "Oh, guess it's not honorable enough, it's just shit".
Neither honestly at most they combine the same Emiya is far too important a name for Shirou (he called his future heroic slf it), there's no way Rin is allowing herself to be the last Tohsaka. I imagine their children will inherent the Tohsaka name or both, since I don't think Shirou cares too much.
>you're certainly assuming a lot in "No, she'd surely have it if summoned normally, 100%. Also she'd have Caliburn and that one magic spear"
I'm not assuming anything of the sort. But correct me if I'm wrong, doesn't the method by which she became a HS mean that she doesn't get all the equipment she would otherwise, therefore negating your point?
Oh man no. I wasn't implying Shirou would discard it because he cares about its status. It's Rin who I think would have the issue with status.
I should have made that more clear that Rin being a traditional mage compared to Shirou would care about that shit
Not to mention that he died in the first battle at dover, and died moaning about he was such a bitch and told Lancelot to fuck off, despite the fact that Lancelot showed up with half the french army to save his king.
Just because UBW is the most popular doesn't mean people don't want to see the other two.
And HF and Fate offer character development and fights that aren't in the other two. All three routes are good imo despite the shitflinging in these threads.
She never really actively complained or asked for help like that, it was the narrative that whined for her if anything. Only time she complained was during the final battle with Rin when it all spilled out.
She wasn't trying to be saved like that, she told him he'd regret it, and was ready to die against Zouken and end it after she realized she broke Shirou that one night in what eventually proved to be a foolish move just like he wanted.
All the complaining about Sakura comes from everybody other than Sakura. I'm literally in the middle of reading the Route atm. Sakura only wants to spend the rest of her short existence with Shirou.
>doesn't the method by which she became a HS mean that she doesn't get all the equipment she would otherwise
Not necessarily, nothing so much stated in full, rather people just assume what the difference would be if she was summoned correctly when we don't really know the difference.
She was a idiot though.. I mean going to Zouken so he can kill you off... how was that ever going to end up well. Granted she was in great pain due to the grail so she probably wasn't thinking straight.
She was planning to kill him or be killed herself in a battle to the death, in her mind she could only see either eventuality as a good thing.
She didn't see that he could manipulate the situation to not go either direction.
I really don't understand why you have such shitty taste.
Like I said, it's a complete awfully written route. If the idea was that the players were suppose to sympathize with Sakura and want to save her no matter what I fell flat on it's face big time. The Fate route completely dumps Saber's character, goals and ideals just so she can be Shirous lover. That's extremely disappointing behavior for someone who is the way she is because of her self hatred and desperate desire to right her wrong.
True but I have never met a Kotomine fan who didn't think his ideals were right. If there are more out there like you, anon. I apologize for lumping you together with those people.
couldnt one child get the tosaka crest, and a new one could be made from shirou's magic circuits for the seconds child. it wouldnt be much compared to rin but it would at least give them some basic abilities.
I would also love to see Shirou meets rins dad. rins dad would start hating him pretty much right away.
He has 27, the average magus has around 20-25. He's slightly above average.
For comparison, though, Rin has 100, and Ciel and Satsuki
inb4 "who?"blow even Rin out of the water.
I'd disagree with that fully, pretty interesting throughout in ways people often discredit without a thought with "Complete shit route aside from the very end". It was a very interesting scenario, hopeless situation, worked out more like a horror story at first, they were out of cards more than ever, it showed the characters shining more than ever as they fought against this fate with no chance. People say "Nothing happened" but it has been proven that something important did happen on every day, in which case a new rebuttal is "Well it had a higher wordcount, so even if something happened it was still 90% padding".
This route gets a lot of shit, but as far as scenarios it's the most breaking on the original story in an interesting way as it all comes spilling out, and it is just worth it all over. Grail War is entirely broken and all the contestants have to start joining together as it becomes a fight for survival with the entire world at stake.
The human drama is especially accomplished; Kotomine's ideals, Shirou's ideals are taken to a breaking point, Rin decides whether she's a magus or human, Sakura being whatever, Ilya reconnects with the amount of family she still has, and the Matou's.
Shirou's magecraft is reliant on his Reality Marble, and Reality Marbles are no hereditary. That's part of the very reason the Magic Association hates them.
That isn't to say that Reality Marbles cannot be passed from person to person, though. But I'm pretty sure it has to involve the original owner's death, and the new owner has to be compatible.
There is no mention of anyone having 100 circuits.
What that anon was quoting is some arbitrary magic potential.
>GJ: I have a question about Fate characters. How high (or low) are the talents of Emiya Shirou and Tohsaka Rin within the entire history of the Association?
Nasu: Rin really is a genius. Given time, she'll enter within the top 100 magi of the Association throughout its entire history. Shirou won't move out from being an magus apprentice, but as a spell-user, he'll be among one of the big specialists. Ultimately, he'll receive an evaluation on the same level as "Magus Killer" Emiya Kiritsugu had in his peak, maybe. If I were to put into simple numbers, Ciel: 100, Rin: 70-100, Shirou: 10 (under particular limited conditions, then 40).
I haven't actually seen a source for the claim that she only has one circuit, but she does have a small amount. It/they are just of extremely high quality and Aoko is pretty damn efficient with it.
They can't just be compatible, they have to literally be the same person to qualify, and even then if their internal worlds are different it will conflict.
And even then Archer was still alive in the end, which is why it worked kinda.
Now it would be interesting to see whether you could put an inaccesible RM into a crest.
It wouldn't be able to be used by the descendants but could provide a nice bonus to one of the things Crests are supposed to do.
Keep their bearers alive.
But who knows
Lair of the Beast King was always's Nero's, but Roa helped him learn it somehow apparently.
Tatari is a question of a different sort. If you force the one who takes on your RM to take the shape of your mind kind of like Roa it's probably possible. But you'd effectively be erasing that person.
the reality marble could not be passed down, but couldntt certain things he dirived from it like alteration and reinforcment be passed down?
>Also Shirou would normaly "add" his magecraft to the Tohsaka crest
can that be done under normal circumstances?
>can that be done under normal circumstances?
It should be possible considering that crests of other families can be integrated into their own if they marry.
See Tokiomi's father and the Edelfelt crest
>but couldntt certain things he dirived from it like alteration and reinforcment be passed down?
They aren't really derived from it; Shirou's ability in the end is only "Create a world of infinite swords". When he's using projection he's just pulling a sword from that inner world outside, same deal for the rest.
It's not like you can can just pick and choose part of it off, all three legs only exist because they are connected to the body.
That one bitch Nrvnqsr ate inherited his RM in Daybreak. I always forget her name.
And only Sion TATARI had any sort of personality alterations, among TATARI's three successors. White Len and Dust of Osiris are nothing at all like Zepia.
Can a computer program gained sentience love another computer program gained sentience?
Also they're both girls.
Why would they do that if they could simply pass the crest on to their child?
Or do you realy think that one of the Edelfelt sisters was "killed" and that's why the other was so pissed off.
That's also how they lost the second Ore-scale and thus their main family trait
>Gawain :: — I have nothing to say to the likes of you. I am simply incompatible with a heroic spirit who would approve of a Servant betraying their lord.
>Gilgamesh :: Oh! I see, I see, so that’s what it was! What a joy, truly the epitome of the loyal dog!
>Gawain :: …what’s so funny. I haven’t said a single word that should please a marauder like you.
>Gilgamesh :: You fool, did you think you’d win as long as you didn’t misspeak? By keeping your mouth shut? There are times when your very being is what betrays you. Shutting away your own will, keeping silent even in the face of one who stands against all your beliefs. What does that do for your master? Honor lies not in obedience. It is something to exemplify. Once you’ve devoted yourself to the sword and become your master’s blade, who will measure your master’s righteousness? You cannot weigh the beliefs of others when you have renounced your scales. That is why you cannot let Lancer’s “betrayal” go. But that was nothing but an alteration in their mutual paths. It is far from a betrayal. Betrayal is when you plan to walk the same path with another but then stab them in the back. If your paths are different from the beginning, you will inevitably devour one another. What very pure and high-minded king you must have served, that you don’t understand this much. An ideal king, shouldering all the expectations of the multitude, never faltering! If such a beautiful star exists, I would like to once gaze on it myself, but — it is an illusion after all. The “ideal king” people wish for is something that no mere human being is fit to be. I imagine that is why your king pitifully self-destructed from betrayal. Which is why you hold such regrets as a Servant, isn’t it? Think that this time you’ll serve a proper king.
>Also they're both girls.
I'm afraid that's a dealbreaker anon
Female Hakuno and BB
I am OK with this, at least Caster gets her husbano Male Hakuno.
Male Haku is leaning towards Blossom-Sensei
She's got a teaching license as a Nurse, so she can be called Sensei. We can't underestimate the Sensei suffix. Only the high tier characters like Taiga or Kuzuki can have it. Supposedly what Hakuno is looking for in a women first is someone who can cook, so that puts Tamamo, Archer, and Blossom as sort of the forerunners at present.
>Passionlip :: Oh, that’s wonderful! I…I’ve made sure to think it through, properly this time. So, I have a question…For you, Miss Hakunon, what do you need in a lover, what kind of talents would you want her to have?
>Gilgamesh :: …so it turned into this after all. Hakuno, feel free to answer her. Call me if there’s a fight.
>Wha, want I want in a lover, what kind of talents I’d like them to have, that’s it? What kind of talents…I don’t know. Not having my memories, I’m pretty vague on what my tastes and preferences might have been in the past. What I need…I suppose that means skills you’d need to have in life. That I can answer. First, cooking skill if nothing else.
If nothing else this must be settled with a cooking contest.
