Let's look at all the trailers released for Fall 2014 shows. I'm pretty bored so I'm just going to post them all. The only shows that are missing are the ones that don't have (proper) trailers.

The story centers around Erika Shinohara, a vain 16-year-old girl who tells her friends about her romantic exploits, but she actually has no boyfriend. Unfortunately, Sata may look like a sweet person, but he is actually an ultra-black-hearted sadist. Sata takes advantage of Erika's weakness and treats her like his dog.
One night, worm-like aliens called Parasites invade Earth, taking over the brains of human hosts by entering through their ears or noses. Because Shinichi was able to prevent Migi from travelling further up into his brain, both beings retain their separate intellect and
personality. As the duo encounter other Parasites, they capitalize on their strange
situation and gradually form a strong bond, working together to survive.

There are a lot of shows many/most people here will be checking out, so that's boring to read about because we all know what they are, but, there are some dark horse series every season that take /a/ by surprise. Those are the really interesting ones because it's a really pleasant surprise to find a good show where none was expected; often it is these shows that carry us through seasons where some or all of the thought-to-be-good ones let us down.
I predict that one or more of the following will be way, way more popular on /a/ than anyone thought (that is to say, fucking no one was talking about it until it aired and suddenly it's a weekly staple for many)
>Sora no Method
>Denkigai no Honya-san
>Yuuki Yuuna wa Yuusha

Trigger is pretty good at making completely bullshit PVs. That was basically just an animated form of the poster. Brief glimpses of the characters in the anime followed by still pictures of them.
Actually I fucked up, Inou Battle has a new trailer out from yesterday: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fIEeVqJjjIQ
I only posted the shows with trailers. There's some other shows that haven't released jack shit.
>Yuuki Yuuna wa Yuusha de Aru
Someone please explain this bullshit. The summary keeps alluding to gods and heroes and mysterious beings, but everything I've seen for it is just literally a high school SoL
Literally nothing else worth picking.
Except Gundam if you're into that
Manage your time better. There are 168 hours in a week; only 40 of those are spoken for with work, meaning you have 128 hours to sleep/eat/commute. Assuming you sleep 7 hours a night on average, that's -49 hours. If you have an hour total in commuting that's -5. If you spend three hours a day eating/fapping/messing around the internet that's -21, leaving ~53 hours of pure hobby time. 24 shows, which is a fucking huge load by the way, sets you back ~12 hours per week. Of course there is other shit like video games, other hobbies etc but that's all up to you.
Personally I only watch my top 3-4 shows during the week itself to catch the first threads, and catch on the rest on Sat/Sun whenever I feel like.
So, here is my list. I think I want to watch too many shows but whatever
I didn't even bother to watch it until you pointed it out, and holy fuck it really seems like a cut above the norm for anime.
Still though it's an adaptation of a mobile card game though, so how could it possibly be good? I mean Zettai Leviathan was great, but that was because it didn't take itself seriously; I wouldn't expect much of anything thrilling/engrossing to spring out of a mobile card game.
Chaika finished relatively strongly, I'd say the ending was the best part of the show. It wasn't 10/10 AOTS but it was definitely a good climax.
As for Wixoss, I don't want to spoil anything relating to the ending, but I dropped it after episode 3 and decided to marathon it when it finished, and it was one hell of a ride.
My first thought of Ookami Shoujo was "man, Tomoko would fucking LOVE this show!"
>maybe, depends on how the story
>jinsei v2, maybe but that show makes me sleep
>maybe, 3 episdoe rule
>manga was interesting, okay
>trap+gender bender , ok
>dunno, looks boring
>looks interesting and comedic, why not?
>seen lot of recommendation about it, looks like shit though
>chuu shit, 3 episode rule, might pick it up if its funny
>looks gay as shit
>alread read the manga, it's nothing special but treat it like akame ga kill
>another boring shit like hanayma, maybe
>liooks like mecha shit, no
>seen people liked the manga, picked up
>FSN, maybe, just hope yuki kajiura composed the music
>looks baller, just hoping its not gay shit
>mecha shit, no
>another hanamayata , looks like a shit
>ANOTHER MECHA shit, nah
>shoujo, proceed with caution
>cash grab, thats all i can think
>Chaika 2, picked up
uninterested on both 2
why next season is so shit?
>Far better than any original mecha to come out in recent times.
That's not saying much at all when we had such "gems" as Valvrave, my personal worst anime of all time.
btw, Build Fighters was better than all Tomino gundams combined
>Build Fighters was better than all Tomino gundams combined
Why didn't you just say 'I have shit taste and you can safely disregard anything I type as if it were non existent'?
>you cant deny most of the show suck
They haven't aired yet, so I wouldn't know. The PVs show more promise than any other season this year though.
>what did i miss?
Some weren't posted here because they don't have PVs out. Psycho Pass and Log Horizon S2 off the top of my head.
> One night, worm-like aliens called Parasites invade Earth
They are not fuckin' aliens, they are just parasites, new life species which evolved on Earth, they were only carried by the wind. Holy shit, why are people so stupid?
If you want serious story, watch Magic Kaito. If you want comedy, watch Kaitou Joker.
Magic Kaito is rumored to have anime original story though and I wonder if Kaitou Joker is even going to get English subs though the manga itself seems to be popular enough in Japan that it's now 18 volumes ongoing and volume 19 is supposedly going to have a limited edition that is bundled with a DVD.
Hopefully I'll be able to follow all the shows that I might potentially watch.
I don't know about you but I've been "trying" to read FS/N for years and keep putting it down before I even finish the opening arc that determines your route.
Go try and read it first, otherwise you will be like me and have zero interest in the entire series for years as you observe the exact opposite from millions of other people and ask "Why?".
You sound like me.
I gather what I want to watch until I have a sufficient amount (around 3-4 hours worth) and watch it all in one sitting. I've recently (within the past 2 years) have been working in an episode of a backlogged show to fill in any gaps I have in my "anime block". I can easily watch 20+ shows a season now thanks to this method and always having at least 3 hours open every other night after work. Feels great doesn't it?
Soon, all of the pretty artwork from the boorus and pixivs of the world will be mine.
Soon, the world will know the purest giantess waifu.
>Daitoshokan looks like generic haremshit.
The anime will probably be like that, but the VN is really nice. Not without faults, but I really enjoyed it. I can see why it was 2013's best seller.
Denkigai isn't really popular, but calling it "dark horse" is quite a stretch.
As long as they don't ruin the source material, it's going to be great, and all you need to know that is read the manga, which more and more people have been checking out with upcoming anime.
At least another adaptation that they're doing next season suited more to their style.
Sort of Want
>thinking it's going to be good just because the manga is good
Keep dreaming big, anon.
>Can't finish the prologue
I know that feeling. The prologue did feels like taking forever to read, and it's from a girl's PoV. But be patient, since the real fleshes of the story are way past that, and even Fate route is good enough in the end because of the writing.
The Shigatsu PV kind of gives me Sakurasou vibes, minus the actual autism. That's a good thing, Sakurasou was great until the second half.
There's a subtitled version of that PV out, by the way.
More looks like Fail 2014
AmaBri is one title worth watching, sasuga KyoAni
Picked up. Most of SQUARE-ENIX and Gangan comedies (Nichibros, Inu x Boku SS, Working!!, Watamote, Barakamon, Nozaki-kun) succeed in being some of the few memorable series in my heart.
>Trigger make one reference about their previous work.
>Retards are already on turboaustism mode.
Gonna try out this show but i'm sure not going in its threads.
I love this kind of thread. Well done, OP and whoever else might be posting these.
No, merman OVA is BL by a indie director who has made several BL OVAs and Orenchi is based on comedy 4-koma manga which isn't BL, just pandering
MC gets tentacled by octopus guy
Posting my list, too. I can't really into mecha and action.
But no for Donten.
>Why does the art for this look so familiar?
Sekai Seifuku's character designer, it seems. The art looks like his.
If I had to guess,
>Very unlikely: Ganbare! Lulu Lolo 2nd season, Fuusen Inu Tinny, Tribe Cool Crew
>Kaitou Joker (tempted to put this very unlikely, except it's doesn't seem to be as childish as the above ones, ADK is supposedly one of the producers and Hero Bank is probably ended this month so CR has 1 more slot for their children show)
>Ai Tenchi Muyo! (because it's series airing every weekday which can't be somewhat annoying then again Funi managed to simulcast Puchimas and they has right for Tenchi Muyo GXP)
>Sanzoku Musume Ronja (it's going to air on NHK BSP, CR didn't simulcast Ginga e Kickoff! which aired on same channel despite they usually simulcast sports shows)
>Narihero www (It's done by gdgd Fairies and Tesagure director but CR didn't sinulcast Tesagure for some reason)
>High Scoool! Seha Girl (it's going to air on BS-Animax channel)
Everything else are almost guaranteed simulcast.
in this case it just means I haven't finished S1
and probably never will
doesn't look particularly amazing but it'll keep me occupied at the least, not a horrible season, there have been far worse
because forgetting images is the way of the renaissance man

I tend to stay away from harems and a mostly female cast, unless it catches my attention. I'm a fag, I like boys.
Shit list, the fact that it's award-winning manga adaptation and Sawashiro voicing a loli tomboy already made it much better than half series on that list.
Overall stable animation + exceptional moments:
Stable animation but nothing really exciting:
Stable but even less exciting:
Shits the bed in 5 episodes but still has occasional highlights:
Daitoshokan no Hitsugitsukai
Did I miss anything?
MC has a PTSD about piano, blonde girl is a very emotional/spontaneous person so doesn't take much to move her, and brown is MC childhood friend which knows of his suffering.
It's kind of cherrypicked scenes though.
