Watching her arc right now, I don't know why everyone says sae is shit. We know who the real best girl is.
I started playing the Hibiki route of the fandisc with machine translation (first time I've tried using it), and yeah, it feels pretty shitty. I mean, I generally understand what they are talking about and understanding a few spoken phrases helps, but I think I won't be playing anything with machine TL ever again.
>watching anything else when Amagami is on your backlog
You're doing it wrong anon.
I presume >>113640065 meant that each arc has 4 episodes because of the omnibus format. And that is why you can say without doubt that best girl won in Amagami.
Save it for when you really want to watch a romance. It's one where you know there's an end result (several in fact) rather than a cop-out so you won't be left unsatisfied by it.
I quoted the wrong post too. Meant to be >>113640415
>there are people who actually not only LIKE Sae but also her voice
This is the rarest of all opposite days
>She will never bite your ear in class
>She will never grind her booty against your junk whilst she fixes your picture
>She will never give you a right hook for looking at her pantsu
>She will never do pic relate
It hurts to live.
Sae is the only one who will put up with your fetishes
Ai means love.
I want to Kaoru. I would give several internal organs to be with her.
>Ai will never boss you around
>Ai will never occasionally ruse you for her own amusement.
It hurts, it really does.
LP stream soon, faggots. Prepare your bodies.
Why is she so perfect?
>You will NEVER rest on Ai's lap
I just want to die /a/ ;_;
The poorfag mobilenet user here. To answer your question: no, it's far from this. The kindergarden is part of the plot, but I've already played 1-2 hours and have no idea how long it is.
Junichi recieving supplementary swimming lessons.
And a CG where Hibiki gets in the pool to teach him some moves.
I hope this satisfies you anon.
Lower part of the CG to (hopefully) completely nullify your doubts.
Solely, utterly, absolutely best girl.
Haruka was too perfect
Kaoru was acceptable
Sea was too needy
Ai seemed like she didn't care
Rihoko seemed better to stay as a childhood friend
Haruka held promise, but they didn't go there.
Tsukasa had a way about here that was just about perfect, a sweet disposition hiding a rather unlikeable personality, but still becoming extremely cute when she is embaressed.
>Hibiki arc on the anime will never happen
> she will never crush you with her butt
>mentioning Haruka twice
Your subconscious knows better, anon.
If you look at it closely, Haruka is the one that has a wacky personality like Junichi. I like most of the girls (I just don't care about Sae becasue she is boring) but the one that fits Junichi the most is obviously Haruka.
I think so too, although his dynamic with Tsukasa was also pretty good.
If anything, her end made that impression even stronger for me. Probably one of the most joyful moments in the anime, if not the most.
Who's your favorite?
Yeah, they could've done better with her arc.
Great girl anyway.
I dunno, I think it was decent. I mean, slow development fits them because they were already friends for years hence them getting together early on like in Haruka's arc would have been stupid.
Awww, no one wants former Miss Kibitou
Hibiki was the
Yes, she was a former Miss Santa or something
Hibiki went full denial mode in that scene.
You can't improve on perfection, only replicate.
Nah, i don't think so. For me, i guess the setting is (somewhere) around 1997-2000
Aitai kimochi de nazoru yubi Kurukuru~
Best song. Best girl.
Maybe if I continue studying I will meet someone like her.
Probably, the fandisc is made of 6 parts, and I only installed the Ai/Hibiki part (4th one). The 2nd one is the one that has the Maya route but I can't give feedback on it because the game sucked so much with machine TL that after the disappointment that the Hibiki route was I decided to uninstall every TL along with the game.
Obviously best OP.
I usually skip Amagami threads because I've seen millions of them, but you immediately got my attention by starting the thread with calling Sae the best girl.
Bleh, her voice is negatively overrated. It ain't nearly as "cancerous" as advertised.
As a matter of fact, I did not find her voice exactly repulsive. Instead, it made me think about what type and degree of anxiety that she has that makes her barely capable of emitting her voice. And this turns out a very strong sympathy point.
Fuck, I wish stuff like that would have made it into the anime. Umehara was way too much of a Sunohara if you ask me. Glad that he got together with someone in the game at least.
Reminder that Junichi was pretty cool in Kaoru's route.
Reminder that Junichi was based in Haruka's route.
Reminder that I've seen him being called a gemeric self-insert in one of these threads.
I wasn't even mad.
Prime breeding material.
No two people can agree on these matters.
1. Ai (Best personality)
2. Sae (Best looks, softest, lovable personality, makes progress in her problems)
3. Tsukasa (Admirable and relatable, but feels sort of difficult to handle)
4. Haruka (Loves fun, but isn't as impacting as the rest)
5. Rihoko (Most boring. But okay, it's the adaption's fault)
6. Kaoru (Immature and sometimes abusive. Also, I'm not a fan of her hair)
I usually have this dirty fantasy where I fug my favorite girl from any given series in an onsen while the rest of the female cast watches (Except the ones I dislike, and the ones who would
Crazy? Maybe you're thinking so because each route is just 4 episodes. But there's like one implied sex scene at the end of each route. And if any one route doesn't progress to that point then that would be a problem IMO.
Glad to be of service, dear friend
Let's hope this thread will still be up when I get up tomorrow morning. Good night friends.
Hit the nail on the head.
Haruka is just a big kitty that wants to have fun and do lovey-dovey things with her husbando. She fits Junichi like a glove.
I dusted off my phat psp, does anyone know if the game has been fully translated or not, and if it isn't does anyone know how far it is.
Copypasta of Hibiki's fandisc in a nutshell I pulled together a while back.
>Junichi starting to show interest in Hibiki
>Find her working at a preschool/kindergarten
>She's a little sad because she's having trouble with the kids because of her complex about her expression looking too stern, which is impacting her decision of whether or not to follow through with her family's tradition of being a doctor
>Junichi tries to cheer her up whenever he sees her there, he and Miya put on a tokusatsu show for the kids
>Pic related Kaoru was supposed to make up swimming lessons, and she suckers you into taking her place, but unknowable to you, Hibiki is in charge of the remedial lessons,
>she calls out Kaoru's name and is kinda confused when you reply to "Tanamachi Kaoru-kun", but just goes with it
>ends up giving you personalized swimming lesson, yet somehow you still manage to near drown, which then she's all like "TACHIBANA-KUN" and revives you with CPR
>being around you softens her up
>eventually the kids warm up to her and start to get jealous of Junichi with stuff like "I'm gonna marry Hibiki nee-chan" and the like
>Then scene where she hugs from behind
>End of route has you holding her hand walking down the road right after her graduation
This guy >>113658377 was complaining about the Hibiki route, but if you ask me I find it to be perfectly adequate. Thanks for typing this up, I'd love to read about the other fandisc routes.
We won't rest until we get Hibiki route animated.
Yeah the series is over, Its fun to hear everyones opinion tough, even though Sae is obviously best girl.
Will there ever be another romance series as good as Amagami?
-realistic, believable characters
-all the girls are exceptional
-good sound track
-MC isn't dense
-MC's bro is a bro
The complaining guy here. And yes I didn't enjoy the route overall. That does not mean that you can not like it.
Can you summarize the sensei route like that? Playing one route with machine TL was bad enough already even though I understood ~90% of what happened.
On the other hand, MC can sit in front of his PC and shitpost on 2ch with other bitter virgins. 2ch was launched in 1999. He also has consoles that use disks and flat screen monitor.
Rihoko becomes part of a AKB-like idol group and AKB was created in 2005.
Plausible, considering KimiKiss time setting before Amagami, and Photokano after it.
Ai, Tsukasa and Haruka are my favourites out of the main cast.
I liked it. It had a real kuudere as a main heroine that worked pretty decently. Not nearly as good as Amagami, but if you have some time to waste, it's worth a watch. I actually liked the fact that they decided to create a 'second MC'. The guy was a better character than the 'main MC'.
What I didn't like in it: tomboy lost. Fuck that.
>game OP theme > Miya+Ai > Sae > Haruka > Kaoru >
WUBWUBWUBRihoko > Tsukasa
This mix is so addictive.
Haruka one: https://soundcloud.com/kyungdae/cv-house-remix
It looks as if Hibiki is receiving the news, even though she's more likely giving them
I wish every girl in America was that kind of fat.
I played it, it was shit. They do eventually get together in that mini-route.
Huh, I just realized I never read that. Can you link me up?
>tfw want to play Photo Kano and other games but can't because there's a superior Vita port
>Don't own a Vita
Fuck me, to begin with these ports are so expensive.
Search in your heart, you there is a right one for you.
that's why you do them justice and give them the whole shebang instead of a slice.
Wrong quote, meant to ask about the Amagami Tetris. (>>113664067)
I've been looking for it for a while and can't find it. Seems like someone already posted a link though.
I really need to read the whole thread before posting.
Plus she gets along great with kids.
Finally anons with refined taste Sae truly is best girl
Sex hair a close second
She looks like she would be the best mother.
For the life of me, I will never understand how Hibiki and Haruka became friends.
So what happened to that girl anyway?
Was she rejected or not?
There's no need for you to crush my dreams anon.
I don't think you mean it.
Kaoru was the best until pic related. It destroyed my heart.
I know that feel, bro. Kaoru destroyed my heart every episode of her arc.
You sir are a scholar and a gentleman of refined taste.
Ai is, plain and simple, the most realistic of the girls when thinking of high school girlfriends.
It's a turn on for sure, but being in fantasy land, I'd found Morishima the most enticing—she is also the most fantastic (in the other sense) of the options.
I consider that garbare outside of /b/
Them seafood faculty uni girls, so underappreciated.
By girl I meant Manaka, no one cares about her ugly sidekick
We're not discussing that point right now. So come up with a more ad rem response
No one fucked her in middle school
No one fucked her in highschool
No one fucker her in uni
She's an old hag by all measure
The reasons that anon provided are highly subjective, though. I'd say Haruka has the best looks and the most lovable personality.
Not that I think Sae's voice is nearly as bad as some people make it.
I think Kaoru is just as realistic, a bit tomboyish girl friend of 2-3 years is not that much of a fantasy.
Also, the only thing I find too artifical about Haruka is her school idol status - the rest of her character, the "wacky girlish girl" is a totally believable personality.
it might not be that much of a fantasy to some, but if you dont live in the suburbs, how does one get a long lasting girl childhood friend?
growing up in any city or an apartment is sure to kill that dream, unless they're the family next door
Kaoru's personality technically makes her able to be a bro and a girl in same time, which is probably why anons like her.
Generally speaking besides Sae every other main girls have some sore of special attractive spot:
Haruka: soft oneechan
Ai: traditional imouto
Rihoko: best friend
Tsukasa: your boss
And of course...
Hibiki: your mom
Which explains why so many anons go Hibiki route since they probably have mother complex.
Both statements are obviously true. But that does not mean Kaoru's is not a compeltely believable personality.
But then again, Kaoru and Haruka are the two personalities who I like the most because they are the ones that are not only lovers of their boyfriends but best friends at the same time. Probably because
that is how I imagine my ideal relationship.
Kaoru is not a long lasting girl friend. It is stated even in the anime that they know each other fron middle school, which is 2-3 years. I wouldn't call her a childhood friend. That is Rihoko.
The crazy senpai who fools around does not really fit the onee-chan archetype.
Have to aggree about Hibiki though.
What I meant is that she has not known Junichi long enough to be called a childhood friend, they only met a few years before Amagami takes place.
>leaving Junichi ever
What a weird way to see some them. I always saw Ai as the onee-chan, despite the fact she's younger than the MC, and Haruka as the seemingly unattainable perfect girlfriend that is actually just a carefree girl waiting to be conquered by someone with enough determination.
But Hibiki is spot on, she's the ideal motherly figure.
>Tsukasa: your boss
Tsukasa is a subtle and relatable character. Being attracted to her has very little to do with submission, and more to do with the fact that the people who relate to her are probably those who've fancied making the world a better place (or have some other serious ambition) but suffered and had to deal with obstacles such as envious people, negative people, shallow people, indifferent people, etc.
This is why they relate to her suffering and want to giver her comfort and the sense of understanding and appreciation, as well as support, that she secretly yearns for.
The other reason is that she can give them back exactly the same, as she relates to you for the same reasons you can relate to her. (And that's presumably something you secretly yearn for too.)
Tsukasa is not your boss. She is a mature partner in your journey in life.
I agree with you, but I would be lying if I said what attracted me to Tsukasa in first place wasn't the femdom aspect of the relationship. Whatever she wanted to make of the world was secondary, as long as I could help her achieving it.
Ai is not onee-chan because she is not the one who push around most time, so she is a more "submissive" type in the relationship. Haruka, on the other hand, is more like a onee-chan that loves to tease the younger brother.
Tsukasa is more your "independent feminist" that view she is equal to men, and her love to boss people to follow her plan makes her more like your boss instead your co-worker. However she is partly like Kaoru that she is still a little insecure girl deep in her heart, hence why she and Kaoru does seem having a rather complex rivalry throughout the series.
Ai has a lot of facets to her personality, which is why I like her so much. At times she's teasing and playful, sometimes she's more like a big sister, and at others she's shy and innocent
Ai has the caring and responsible aspect of big sisters without being necessarily strict or pushy. She falls in love with the protagonist because he acts cute and childlike towards, awaking her protective instincts.
Not to mention she does have a younger brother.
>Haruka, on the other hand, is more like a onee-chan that loves to tease the younger brother.
Seems to me that you stick the onee-chan tag on the girl who is older than the MC which is just wrong because Ai is in fact a bit of an onee-chan.
I understand what you mean but please don't use that word. It's probably the media's fault but I automatically associate it with feminazis and it makes me feel bad.
>Seems to me that you stick the onee-chan tag on the girl who is older than the MC which is just wrong because Ai is in fact a bit of an onee-chan
I think he's mixing onee-chan with Haruka's senpai role.
Both onee-chan and imouto can be caring and responsible, hence the only difference is who is the "lead"; in Haruka arc it is clearly Haruka is the one who lead the relationship, while in Ai arc it is clearly Junichi is the one leading the relationship.
>in Haruka arc it is clearly Haruka is the one who lead the relationship, while in Ai arc it is clearly Junichi is the one leading the relationship
Because the former is a senpai and the latter a kouhai.
>I understand what you mean but please don't use that word. It's probably the media's fault but I automatically associate it with feminazis and it makes me feel bad.
I know, right?
Why does feminism always have to show up and ruin things? Any human can possess any characteristics, regardless of their gender. When people see an ambitious and motivated man, they say "Look, that's an ambitious and motivated man." But when they see an ambitious and motivated woman, they don't just say "Look, that's an ambitious and motivated woman." They say "Omg look, that's a strong and independant feminist woman fighting the social hierarchy for the great justice of women's independence from thousands of years of domination by the male devil herp derp herp."
Seriously... As much as I love ambitious and motivated women, I hate this "F-word" along with all the stereotypical rubbish associated with it.
Let's get this back on track. Which Amagami would be the best
