There's no anime about cute planes being cute.
There's Tasukete! Mave-chan. It's just one OVA, though.
He said cute planes not uncute girls.
>You will never see Madoka vs Homura fighting it out over Avalon
>all this slavshit in my proud Ose/a/n thread
Go home, PAK-FA. Go tend to your sister's backwards wings.
Sure if you want to waste a part slot on fire extinguishers.
Damage hardly matters in ACI anyways. With high level planes and armor parts, it's ~15% dmg per missile, and it costs a few thousand to quick respawn, at most.
Now that I think about it, I got nothing.
It's good and feely, but I want to
hold handswith Rena & Fionasince they're AC's Best Girls.
I'd rather cute christmas cake bombers.
No you don't understand. AC Infinity is a f2p
pay2grind2winonline team vs team game where they set you on a bunch of targets and the team with the higher points wins. Nobody cares about getting hit since the point is to shit out as much damage as quickly as possible and dodging wastes time. You can get shot down several times a game and still wind outscoring everyone by far.
What? The Rafale has been smashing it over Afghanistan, Libya and Mali.
The Gripen's done nothing but recce over Libya.
Only the F16 has a cockpit for now
That's a dealbreaker
>/a/ has better ace combat threads than /v/
>a shooting star passes by
Lightning-tan is an embarassment to the Lockheed family.
She's a growing girl.
Spreytards and Koppshits can fuck off
Are you sure about that?
>there will never be a AC x Nanoha crossover like idolm@ster
Would main that plane forever.
I bought overgrowth yesterday and this today. Had slight buyer's remorse over overgrowth and none about this for whatever that's worth. It's got some missions, I think around 15 since I'm on 5 and the game says I'm 66% of the way one campaign and 33% overall. It's fun. Pretty cheap too. I'm looking forward to this getting better and better. I'd recommend buying it but I'm a huge ace combat fan.
>In the Western hemisphere, Idol Defense Force Hummingbird was published in the UK as a subtitled VHS video combining the 93 and 94 episodes in 1994. There have been no subsequent video releases of the 95 episodes, or any DVD publications since.
This was never dubbed. Like AC3's debacle of a sham of a westerly release this is a shame.
I bought it. It's in a very incomplete Early Access state. We're talking about things like lack of working joystick and ground skimming missiles hitting hills.
Comparatively, I would wait until it's in more of an Open Beta state like Warframe. Playable, but with progressive updates on a weekly basis.
Stratos 4 is sort of like Ace Combat.
Really? No joystick support yet? Mine is on the other side of the country so I haven't tried yet and have just been playing with a 360 controller which works mostly fine after turning up dead zone since it's sensitive as fuck
Camilla is ORishina 2.0, shares a voice actress too.
I want Camilla to start using dance analogies when meeting Reaper next:
<<Ah, you again! I missed you!>>
<<Shall we dance? Just you and me this time!>>
<<Let's have a party in your honor!>>
<<NO, this one's MINE!>>
<<YOU CAN'T HAVE MY RIBBON!>>
Orishina 2.0 Buddy-fight when PA?
MAN IT SURE WOULD BE NICE IF WE COULD HAVE A GAME ABOUT COLD WAR ERA PLANES
>those op as fuck WWII planes
fuck I love that game, despite that one mission that took me 6 fucking hours to clear on ace, the whole time feeling the urge to chuck my 3DS at a wall.
Wargame has every cold war plane you want. It is an RTS though.
AC:I is basically recycled assets the video game.
I just want more arcade fighter games with real planes.
Curious...I wanna try it. What's your dead zone?
I won't believe it until I see an official confirmation from Project Aces.
I want to believe
Flight Highschool, where mental help is required if you get all the in-jokes.
Lot's of COs of fighter squadrons are well into their 40s, they fly until they start faltering in physical requirements or they reach a rank that's more administrative.
There's no distinction in age limit between the different combat arms (fighter, bomber, tanker, ISR, C&C, etc).
>There will never be an hd collection
No-o Onii-chan, my missiles come out of there.
No, I don't want that.
I want an updated high-res rerelease of the original game. Not a remake. The 3DS game completely missed the point of what made 2 great and changed too many things.
Here, let me give you an example of what I want.
See this? It was the same game as the N64 original, but with updated graphics and HD resolution. That's all I want.
Hopefully Anyan can make miracles happen.
your little ameriburger planefu just can't keep up with the ojousama hotness of the t50
I finally got a computer powerful enough to emulate Ace Combat effectively and just played though Zero in one day, it was great. I've been wanting to do so for about two years now because of you faggots. I guess I'll be playing AC4 next.
Not him, but I emulated 4 with random frame drops that stayed for about 10 minutes and I still loved it.
I wonder how better would it be if I didn't need to keep worrying about performance.
I did realizes there was differences, although not enough to be called "paths". I thought it was just different dialogue and such. I didn't say I wouldn't go back to play it again, because I definitely plan on it.
It was fine. I don't have a PS2 and getting the game would be a pain.
>pressure sensitivity goes unrecognized
>massive-ass glitchery regardless of if you're on softw or hardw mode
>he actually can't find a copy of Zero on the cheap
You disgust me
Getting the game is very easy. They're not expensive used. Saw a set on ebay not too long ago that was $50 for the three PS2 games and included the AC5 flight stick. PS2s can be found pretty cheap too. You can also set it up with a softmod so you can burn games to dvds pretty easily.
>>pressure sensitivity goes unrecognized
What is USB controllers?
>>massive-ass glitchery regardless of if you're on softw or hardw mode
This kills the fun
>>he actually can't find a copy of Zero on the cheap
But buying a PS2 just to play a game is such a mess. Even more when you live in a third world country where people still want to have one.
Which is all actually a lot less work than you'd think.
Zero may have suffered from bad marketing, but it actually somewhat escapes the tendency of such games to get scalped to hell and back if you know where to look.
Seriously, I tried emulating it, and the only thing I can concede to your case is you haven't played it on PS2. That's the only way you could accept such a subpar experience.
I should have snatched it up but I had just bought the games elsewhere. Probably not going to find that that cheap again.
>What is USB controllers?
WELL IT'S NOT MY FAULT THE DS3 HAS TO BE RECOGNIZED AS A SHITTY 360 PAD WITH NO PRESSURE SENSITIVITY WHATSOEVER.
There were like three generations of flight stick for Ace Combat.
Sky Girls is more mechs than planes.
Strike Witches is literally Upotte! for planes, but it is very subtle.
I doubt even an average plane otaku could figure out which girl flies which plane.
Bonus points if you figured out each girl's WW2 ace flies the plane each girl's boosters represent.
No, it's really not. Once you get used to the way the planes handle, it's perfectly playable. And it has a far better plane selection than any other game out there.
I've been playing it, hopping back and forth between it and Infinity, and I've had no trouble adapting. I've gotten to the point where i can speedrun the windy canyon mission with no trouble.
AC04 has its own flight stick. It's JP onry.
AC5 introduced the AC Flight Stick 2, which supposedly works across the entire PS2 trilogy.
AC6 has the Ace Edge, which is essentially the same base controller as the Flight Stick 2 (that is, a Saitek X45 HOTAS shell), but for 360.
Also Sony had a twin stick thing for the PSX that worked with AC2 and AC3 among a bunch of other games.
All of you have shit taste, not posting the glorious SR-71, faggots this design is sex
how are you going to have this thread without this pic
also war thunder anyone?
>Once you get used to the way the planes handle, it's perfectly playable.
And this is why i'll never enjoy it. I've been spoiled by ace combat, where the planes are perfectly responsive and don't have any kind of stabilizers whatsoever. My main grip with AFDS is that it tries to keep your plane straight.
