At last.... Season 3
Contain your shit taste please.
>yfw you will never hear "Anon-san, Anon-san!" from her
>Get to a family restaurant
>Offer her a protein blend that can make her taller
>that can make her taller
So that's an announcement for a working/SxS summer festival, and the other thing is a link to some message board...
I'm guardedly optimistic. Very guardedly. Will still rewatch, since I've been looking for something to rewatch.
So what are you going to spend the day celebrating with?
>you still never bought these
How could you /a/?
Yet you don't seem to be contributing
>yfw Normal-chan gets screen time only in the last episode again
Not like you can get this much strength anyway if you aren't an anime character.
>Season 1 ended
>Think will never get season 2
>Season 2 is announced
>Is even better than season 1 by a magnitude
>Think will never get season 3
What are the chances that season 3 will be even better than season?
It's funny how back when season 1 aired only japs liked inami and not a single soul on /a/ liked her. Then season 2 rolled around and there are people who think she's best girl.
The only "announcements" I could find were Japanese tweets reacting to an announcement.
And no, Otakomu doesn't count, it's the Japanese Sankaku Complex, it's not a fucking announcement.
Then you were the loneliest guy around.
Inami was the most popular manga character in Japan by a landslide. Japan also doesn't like S2 as much as S1.
I liked her during S1 too, but I didn't watch it with /a/, thankfully. /a/ has a great ability to ruin enjoyment of light-hearted comedy series with its autism.
>yfw Normal-chan gets screen time only in the last episode again
Due to the importance of merchandising as opposed to video sales, the production committee is not going to waste screen time on characters that aren't expected to sell a lot of merchandise or licenses.
It's just the only thing that people like about Poplar and Yamada is that they look cute and they don't look cute in the manga because it has shit art style. Meanwhile, Inami is at least an actual character and not some mascot.
But I like the original artstyle
I also like the style they use in the anime
Nigger, please. Surely you won't claim that it's as good and especially as moe as anime art style?
I think Inami's alright. Not as bad as you'd think she would be.
Of course, the real reason I'm watching is my nigga Satou. Godspeed, based Chef.
DON'T YOU DARE LIE TO ME OP.
I put off watching the last episode of s2 for so long.
I promised myself I'd watch it after my mid terms senior year of HS as a reward for all my studying and I didn't.
I promised I would watch it after I got accepted into a good college, and I got accepted into a great one, and I still didn't watch it.
Said I would watch it over the summer before I went in, but I didn't.
Said I would watch it after 1st year, as a reward for surviving, and I didn't, etc. I didn't want it to end.
I swear to god, if I go watch that last episode, and I was lied to, anon,
I will cry a lot. ;_;
Well you got me beat, I just have a little Poplar hanging off Ceadeaus' horn.
Couldn't find any Poplar nendos at ACEN where I would been in the mood to impulse buy it.
This. I hope it's true though.
Nothing to celebrate yet.
10/10 picture would befriend.
The festival was today and S3 was announced there.
watashi wa no can read moon desu but this looks promising
You're going to have to bring some sauce on that, chef.
I haven't watched Working! but I feel happy for those who have so I'll post the only related content I have.
L-lewd. Also, you really should watch it.
Yamada wishes you would make her the MC!
>too many NEETs in japan
>japanese government funds another season showing how working can be fun when it's actually hell
Reminder do NOT watch this propaganda
there are no cute little girls at your age at the workplace
I can't believe that a show that suffered from the "season three never" treatment actually got another season.
Just like how they have a falling birth rate and people are showing no interest in relationships or having kids, then we get a cheerful romcom about arranged marriage and how wonderful it is.
Im not saying Im just saying.
>not Servant x Service s2
Official working gags tier list:
>every Yamada scene
>Inami being cute
>Yachiyo's cluelessness to Satou
>Inami punching things
Never been funny, tedious shit
>Poplar height gag
>Poplar hair jokes
>Yachiyo's lesbian obsession
It just didn't compare at all. I don't know if it was how the adaptation was handled or what, but it just lacked the dynamism that worked so well in Working.
>Souma's scheming manipulating sadism
>not the best part of the show
Step it up
>not liking Poplar hair jokes
>It just didn't compare at all. I don't know if it was how the adaptation was handled or what, but it just lacked the dynamism that worked so well in Working.
I felt the same way, the character interactions on Working is so much better than it was on SxS. Doesn't help that I just finished marathoning Working before watching SxS, I put it back on my backlog and went back to finish it after a while.
>Yachiyo x Satou
>Souma x Yamada
It's good tier
>SMALL THINGS ARE SO CUTE
>everything Manager especially Yachiyo sucking up to her.
THERE'S NO ANNOUNCEMENT, FAGGOTS!
Stop reacting to shit you read here when there is no proper source.
Yes, I'm mad. Fuck you.
Inami is ok when she's acting cute, which sadly doesn't happen that often.
>Do you think news write themselves automatically?
Uhhh... You'd expect it to be either in Working's website, it's Twitter or any of Karino's accounts by now.
All we have is second-handed information, which may as well be worth nothing.
>no news ever happens on Sunday
>check the internet anyway
>Going on Crunchyroll
There's no announcement in Takatsu Karino's website, but at least, there's this.
>August 10, 2014 12:43pm EDT (3 hours ago)
Both shows should come back. Just remove that fucking bunny.
This is what got announced...
>asians with colored contacts
Well, Yachiyo has a sharp blade whereas Miyoshi has a sharp
It's hard to say.
Between Souma and Chihaya, the outcome is even harder to predict, because they're almost the exact type of person.
They'd probably get along and go drink some tea together, although Miyoshi would be worried about the sword (yet she'd say nothing about it)
>although Miyoshi would be worried about the sword (yet she'd say nothing about it)
You see, that's the thing. Miyoshi doesn't always lash out on purpose. Harsh words, plenty of times, simply come out naturally from her, even when she has the best of intentions, or no special intentions at all.
That's why only Jouji works with her, because unless she's being harsh on purpose, most of the things she says simply fly over his head, since he's... special.
As someone who disliked Inami in the first season, even I found her okay in the season season.
The problem was how the first season was handled. Not Inami herself. She was even somewhat cute in the second season. That's how good the second season was. Every character got better in season 2. Even Inami.
Nah. It's cool, don't worry about it.
That's very true, it's because she was finally making progress on her personal problem instead of being a punch-gag character that's taking other character's screentime.
Maybe it's because I didn't watch it with /a/, but I think Inami working on and making genuine progress on not being the punch-gag character saves her from being a bad character in my eyes. She's actually pretty alright.
I don't see how she can become the second best girl when she's in the second season the least. Heck, the Chief and Manger have more development than Inami does. Not to mention Yamada, who's entire point is to BLOCK other characters development. Even she get's an episode and a half of development in season 2.
And still, Popura is the best.
still waiting for season 3 of boku no tomodachi ga sukunai
I want to believe but I cant read nip.
Inami a shit
I just want more smoker and sword romance with popura hairstyles
>she has a legit reason to hit Takanashi
Here we fucking go again. Fuck you.
Trauma or not, she still did punch him all the time and it won't change that it ruined the series for us.
I feel you man. I liked Working, but I loved SxS
Pretty sure the manga is finished though and there's not enough material for S2
Her character was basically built upon the worst trope in anime which is the stupid scream and punch shit. She got better at the end of the series but it doesn't make up for all the bullshit I had to sit through
I thought in season 3 they could try to make an actual less shitty ending than other harem anime like the world only god knows did. but I guess a good harem is too much to ask :D
SxS will have its time eventually. I just never thought Working would ever get a S3/
You can't make a S2 even if there was enough material (and there isn't - the anime covered vols. 1-3, and there are 4 volumes in total).
The anime solved the issue between Hasebe and Lucy in its last episode, whereas it was an important deal in the manga (in volume 4, which is the one the anime didn't cover), that was only solved at the very end.
Inami really stole too much screentime from other characters and the stupid I-scream-and-hit-guys-but-oh-no-I-hopelessly-love-MC shit got old really fast.
And the worst fucking part is that Inami is so fucking cute and adorable I am physically incapable of hating her.
This made me realize I never downloaded the BDs and for the first season the only decent release uses SHiT subs. Oh well.
We had to wait for Working! Season 3 while they made SxS. I was fine waiting. But its stupid for them to skip making more of Working! (their even more popular show) just to make a second season of SxS.
They can just make alternating seasons of both.
Inami is love, Inami is life
They would be better off making an anime adaptation of the other Working series (the original Working series - i.e. the web comic).
That one actually has plenty of material for an anime adaptation.
Just reading through the comments now.
m.3.3.w didn't sub the DVD, so they're missing the extra scenes that are in the DVD/BR release which is why their subs weren't used.
tlacatlc6 did use m.3.3.w for the S2 release though.
Does this mean we get to see more of the brocon imouto? I'm game.
I actually think they'd be better off making 'filler' episodes based off of side characters like Popura, the Chief, Satou and Yamada. I know it sounds like a bad idea, but this is one show where the characters are flexible enough where it could actually work (if they got competent writers and a good crew, like the Season 2 staff).
Obviously it is a very risky move and probably wouldn't work. But I'm just saying, it COULD work if done correctly. I certainly would watch a few seasons of a show focused on Popura and Satou doing funny things.
I don't think it would work, considering you can tell Karino's distinctive style at writing her characters.
That's why I said animating the web-series would be the best idea, considering it is also popular.
That being said, I wonder why Karino just ended both of her manga this year.
then where is my Hataraku Maou s2?
This is one of the first anime I watched whilst it aired. Absolutely love it and I absolutely love and semen demon Yamada. And that woman in the phone shop.
>what I expected
An Inami focused show would have still been better than that shit. And season 2 ended up being more like a good British comedy like Are You Being Served with moe characters. Rather than a shit reality show parody with bad characters.
Best scene in the whole show tied with this.
Why people hate my waifu so much?
This make me sad.
I really hope for this to happen in new season
Cause she's violent, a burden on everybody around her, and everybody in show is forced to bend over backward to accommodate her even though she doesn't reciprocate the effort?
He willingly suffers abuse from women because he refuses to stand up for himself against women. He has no problem standing up to guys who piss him off, but he'll let women abuse him and take advantage of him simply because he was conditioned to never resist by his sisters.
He's beyond beta, he has a pathology.
He stands up to the women. He tells Inami she's annoying and pathetic all the time. He tells the manager she's butch and worthless. She tells the Chief she's worthless, but the Chief ignores what he says (like she ignores everyone else).
Eventually, he just gives up trying to fix the situation and becomes apathetic. In the second season, this even becomes a major plot point when he notices Inami start to pay attention to another guy. He starts to feel jealous that she isn't focusing so much on him. He compares this to a 'owner who's dog has lost his loyal pet'.
Its sad I have to explain all this.
TFW the only news source is a bunch of users that swear they were at the event. It's not like they could be lying just for trolling.... r-right?
>'owner who has lost his loyal dog'
And I just owned myself.
Just impotent barking. He still does whatever they tell him to. He even cross dressed for Inami on multiple occasions despite his trauma over it, and despite the fact he got nothing out of it at all, and despite the fact Inami regularly beats him.
You are delusional if you think this guy has anything resembling a spine when it comes to women.
>wah he's a wimp because I said so!
>I'm gonna conveniently dismiss all the character development examples that don't support my argument
>Getting bitchy and snapping at someone then immediately apoligizing is not standing up to them.
Except he doesn't do this. He 'snaps' at someone. Then apathetically trails off or just drops it. Because the responding party either ignores the point (Chief, Manager, Yamada), hits him (Inami) or turns it into a joke. The only one who actually responds to him with anger is Popura. And he plays off of it by just saying she's cute.
it's like you people never even watched the show. Or don't understand the characters.
The girls in this show have a great cute/sexy ratio. I wonder if we'll get to see progress on the relationships now in S3?
Watch more anime. Its a stereotype of her personality.
She'll open her eyes when something really important happens.
>Playing the straightman has nothing to do with character development
Are you.... Wha..... Really....
You can't be this stupid. Did you really just say that?
Fuck yes, my day is now 10x better.
The entire point of a 'straight man' is to be a opposite character type for the more reactionary characters to play off of.
The fact that I have to explain this to you is pretty sad. And that fact that you have to get so defensive and try and mock someone to make your point valid proves that you either know your point was stupid or you are just dumb to begin with.
It says it's just an OVA though.
This kind of hope is just sad.
And the drama in your gif was even more sad. ;_;
In the moon writing apparently only one person can read.
She is the exact epitome of a short stack.
A short stack just means a girl who is very short but also has large breasts compared to most girls. Her hips/waist/thighs don't come into play. Popura is rather skinny in all other areas except her breasts.
I thought it referred to being short, yet being stacked in most aspects, but I mostly see people accentuate the hips rather than the tits, but I guess it isn't mutually exclusive as you can be stacked in different areas or both at the same time.
'Stacked' is usually a term people use to describe a girl who has large breasts. I haven't really heard it used to describe a girl with large thighs/hips before. But feel free to correct me.
Hm. I guess you're right, all signs post to it mostly being about the rack, yet most of hte stuff I saw about short stacks was about the hips like I said, such as some Bravely Default characters drawn as their 3D model forms and junk. But yes, the term Stacked does refer more to the boobs, but this could be an evolution of the term to include merely a curvy, small woman.
There's a reason she's called a mascot character. Yet she's one of the few mascot characters who actually is fun and worth watching in her show in most people's opinion.
And she does have development. There's plenty of things developing about her personality and ways she plays off the other characters. We just aren't learning about her like outside of the workplace. But you can say the same thing about half the characters.
I mean honestly speaking Poplar really doesn't change, but it's okay because she's lovable.
I sort of wish on some level it was a Katanashi and Poplar romance or at least it was given some thought on some level. Poplar is adorable though and I'm just happy to see her be adorable.
>VAs are being recast
Don't even joke about that.
Haha time for yamada
I will block your character development if you persist in such actions.
>mfw S3 is actually a full season of the April Fools PV characters
Though seriously, I'd watch an episode of those two guys.
By watching season 2.
And focusing even more on Popura.
Inami hasn't hit Takanashi in like 150 chapters in the manga, she has been fixed for a while now.
Actually she only hit one guy in like 100 chapters and that punch had the effect of fixing a making a divorce couple get together again
Ha that's cool. I have the Yamada set.
Oh god, now I'm genuinely hyped, thank you so much.
