What's so special about riding motorcycle, unless you meant you want to do street race or something.

It's quite fun.

Don't forget the one most people cite.

Also:

>Manga on guns and operating
>want to see what shooting a gun is like

Why not go to a shooting range and try it? If you have one. And actually, I really got into archery for a time.

This. In some countries, gun ownership is rare/restricted/forbidden, so just having it will brand you a criminal.

As for driving between cars and lanes, that really depends on where you live.

In São Paulo, Brazil, driving a motorcycle is so dangerous that it's a profession of its own. An average of 2 people die every day.

You are exactly me. I don't know how far you've gone with your desires, but I've actually pursued mine.

>been learning to cook & making dishes for years
>currently own a motorcycle
>took a firearms safety course & waiting for my license

I've done it because I have nothing to lose at this point. If anything, I actually had more to gain out of this.
>>
>>111750059

Well I don't know how it is in all countries, but I would think that if you lived in a country where gun ownership was restricted like Britain, a shooting range would actually do well. Precisely because it could be the one place where people could go and shoot guns without having to bring their own.

At least here in America you can go to a Shooting Range and use the guns they have at the range. Not have to bring your own. I don't know if the ranges would also be restricted in those countries.

Never ever saw a gun range in Brazil.

Some more backstory: A few years ago, there was a public referendum asking the population if they wanted to relax gun control laws, to allow certain citizens to possess weapons. The majority voted no, and we still have no-gun laws.

Manga goes through to great extents to make something boring into something interesting.
Surely you are familiar with "D-decantering from such a height!" for example?
Once you start cooking or riding bikes and realize you can't do the crazy shit you see them doing in the manga, interest will fade away.
That's not to say that you can't have a genuine passion for those.

They literally make you more badass by forcing you to stare death in the face and stay calm and composed under pressure. Riding a machine that literally has the bare minimum to travel at a high speed (two wheels and an engine) has a rugged minimalism to it and makes you rely on you rather than a big, decadent machine like a car. Also, the intensive and intimate maintenance you need to do on the bike to keep it running well (and by extension, you alive) is both really manly and forges a strong bond between you and your mode of transport. A car is a used up slut that anyone can hop inside and ride like it's nothing, but a motorcycle is your waifu; my Nighthawk feels like a second pair of legs

>Why? Freezing food and putting it in boxes doesn't add calories to it.

Actually it does. With all the preservatives and crap they put in some of it. And you don't get the nutrients in stuff like frozen vegetables. Though I doubt you're eating vegetables.

>And that hamburger and fries you make at home aren't going to be any more nutritious or less fattening.

That's the point. You need to eat something besides just a hamburger and fries everyday.

>over eating is the thing that makes you fat

What is this recent trend to blame everything on just over eating? Its like you guys are using this to counter the other extreme 'eating too much doesn't making you fat, just certain types of food'.

But I have to point out that both of these extremes are just that, extremes. People gain weight for different reasons. One person can eat 7,000 calories a day and not gain weight because they burn it off. A different person can only eat 2,500 calories a day and actually gain weight over time, because they aren't burning it off.

Other factors are WHAT you are eating. Which are the things that help your body process the food and not store it as fat. If all you eat is simple sugars, fries, bread and hamburger all the time, then your body is going to build up a lot of excess fat real quick. Because it can't handle the excess amount of calories all at once.
>>
>>111751528
That would drive those species to extinction, and that would be immoral!
>>
>>111751651
You know I mentioned a sedentary lifestyle for a reason. A person eating 7000 calories and burning it off isn't a biological lucky lottery number.
>>
>>111751760

It still kind of is. There's a reason some people are 'active' and others are 'sedentary'. You think everyone wants to be sedentary? The people who are overly active are like that because their bodies allow them to be. And there's tons of people who are sedentary because they have medical conditions, desk jobs, weak bodies, etc.

This is where you start making excuses "everyone can go exercise if they just have the will and energy!" Says the guy who admitted he goes to fast food places because he's lazy and doesn't care.
>>
>>111751098

The only people who have a medical excuse are totally paralyzed or in comas, and they are getting fed through tubes so they already won't be fat.
>>
>>111751226
it's funny because depending on how long after they are harvested that vegetables are frozen, they can have more nutrients in them than fresh vegetables.

The sad part is that many people don't even realize how much your diet can affect your disposition. I've had a friend chug down fast foods every day and he kept whining to me about how he's feeling depressed and exhausted all the time. Then he went to live with his mother for a couple of weeks and he was feeling much better, because his mom was cooking for him, something that he didn't realize since he thought he was only feeling shitty because he's missing his family.

Well, I started playing guitar when I watched K-On! and I still play it almost everyday. I also started playing go after watching Hikaru no Go. But that didn't last long. I also became a cute little girl after all these cute little Anime I watched.

Also for those people interested in cooking: Go buy a pack of japanese curry roux and use it to make curry ramen. Then start adding various things into it. I added spam once, nice and easy.

Once you're comfortable start trying other recipes. Prepacked spices are your friend here, I've been cooking for years and still can't get spices right.

Don't forget, more fuel efficient and significantly cheaper than a car: $10,000 will get you an AMAZING brand new bike, whereas it won't even get you a new car.

Not really, all three are important in a lot of meals (pepper less so) but if you use too much it ruins the meal.
>>
>>111755761
>Once you're comfortable start trying other recipes. Prepacked spices are your friend here, I've been cooking for years and still can't get spices right.
Really? I just sort of smell it and sort of throw in as much as whatever feels right and it usually turns out pretty good. You just need to eat a lot of different types of food.
>>
>>111758009
Why not go on the Ghan?
>>
>>111751344
There are overweight 6 month old babies. They are not overeating and can't just run 10 miles a day to lose the weight. It has to do with the sheer amount of sugar in their formulas. This goes for a lot of prepackaged foods. There's a shit ton of sugar in a lot of it. It happened after the American Heart Association told everyone in the 70s that fat was bad for your. So now there's sugar in everything.

The obvious choice would be to eat less prepackaged foods, but when you are making less than a minimum wage and have to work 2 or more jobs to support your family all you can afford to eat are prepackaged junk. Many of which are subsidized by the government so it's actually more of an economical choice to buy unhealthier food than it is to buy whatever is good for you.

I dunno, I never really put much effort into it, that's probably why. Portion control is one of my weakness in general.

And even them like fuck I'm not going to mix 11 different spices instead of buying curry roux
>>
>>111764212
You just make it up in a big batch, it ends up tasting way better.

Do you even know how many anons went and bought racing cycles when yowamushi pedal started airing?

That's what I did, I usually cook 10 portions at once.

CAn't make big stirfry batch though, need a bigger stove for that.
>>
>>111764985
No, no, no. Mix the spices together in one big batch. Only cook meals as you eat them, baking notwithstanding but still preferable.
>>
