It will also become the normalfag standard for fanservice anime, so /a/ will hate it and it will bring a new influx of people to /a/ for ask for recommendations just like this show.
Is that what you want?
Ex-Hero protecting female Demon Lord. There is another similar series by the same author,Hagure Yuusha.
This one is objectively better though.
This guy enjoys juicy cocks.
>Ex-Hero protecting female Demon Lord
What's with Japan's obsession with objective good and evil? I mean, heroes, devils, demons etc. - who gives a shit?
>tfw we will never see Fiasco anime
I'm still waiting for an anime with a plot that doesn't feature supernatural/fantasy/sci-fi elements, features ordinary people who have poor self-control and big ambitions, and drifts right into morally grey area, like, I dunno, Fargo, for example, or Blood Simple, or, I dunno, Burn After Reading.
i prefer this than that faggot ass pretentious other hero+demonlord stuff. This got then right fanservice no skinny ass moebait shit this is dark meat her. hopefully the plot is decent. what is the light novel called?
Why this isn't translated? WHY?
Because the concept of heroes , devils and angels is interesting and can lead to interesting setups and settings as long as the author knows what he's doing. Morality isn't even an issue.
For example demons in the nasuverse, or "heroes" in Re:Monster.
>The Testament of New Sister Devil
That's precisely what I mean, though. By establishing that a character belong to a special snowflake race/group/organization, author brings expectations from the reader about that character and uses it to captivate the auudience by subverting/inverting the expectations and otherwise bringing out suspense in the audience. That is just subpar writing, in my opinion. Character establishment should occur without any expectations in mind, merely by character's interactions with the social environment.
It's just as bad when the author showcases character's thoughts verbatim, it's the worst possible case of "tell don't show". Character's ideals and opinions on various matters should become known to the audience in his interactions with the world, not by delving into his mind and author giving us "well, this character thinks like so".
Translator dropped it after anime was announced because anime will draw in more retards and he don't want to deal with them, and guess what he was right, just see this thread.
raws are on nyaa
That's mean, I'm not
Well with some luck someone would pick it after the anime
Let me ask you just this, how much do you know about demons in the nasuverse and did you read Re:Monster ? Because I think you have a gross misconception about what I meant to say.
As I said, Angel , Demon and Hero are interesting concept by themselves. Even without subverting or inverting expectations, it's not like the characters themselves are defined by the terms
>"this guy is a demon, so he's evil! , but wait he's actually good bet you didn't expect that!"
and just by having these terms in a setting does not make the story with "sub-par writing". I do not understand why you would think that taking already existing real life concepts and adding them into a story can make something be bad writing. Bad writing is writing done by a bad writer, no more, no less.
Getting back to your initial statement
>I'm still waiting for an anime with a plot that doesn't feature supernatural/fantasy/sci-fi elements, features ordinary people who have poor self-control and big ambitions, and drifts right into morally grey area,
There's plenty of works that have this, you just have to find them. Punpun, Me and the Devil Blues, Vagabond, every episode of Gungrave except the first two, etc.
I'm exaggerating, you nignog. Of course, if the writer is good, even the blandest of cliches can be done impressively well. And about "good writing, bad writing", well, see it this way:
>Good writer, original writing - praised and acknowledged as a masterpiece.
>Good writer, cliche writing - named a solid example of the genre, recommended to those who are getting into it.
>Bad writer, original writing - at first expected to be a masterpiece, but then recognized as a clusterfuck it is.
>Bad writer, cliche writing - forgotten amidst dozens of similar works.
The problem I have is with the third type. You can't achieve anything with just a good start and then letting it devolve, Characters are the same deal. You can't start with an interesting at first glance character and then completely bastardize him with lopsided development. And you can't make character's identity revolve around him merely being a special snowflake and not developing qualities in the story.
>There's plenty of works that have this, you just have to find them.
Most of what you named is manga, not anime. But, yeah, there are notable exceptions, I agree.
Reading comprehension, mate.
>And you can't make character's identity revolve around him merely being a special snowflake and not developing qualities in the story.
And my point was, nobody does this anymore nowadays. Nobody is defined by a "demon" status. Nobody is defined by a "hero" status.
Hell, even in this manga Hero is a clan. The "Hero clan" which specializes in defeating demons. MC is not characterized by the title of "Hero", it's merely an excuse for him to have powers. The heroine, the same way, is a character on its own, completely unrelated to the title of "Demon Lord". Hell, she doesn't even tell MC that she's a demon lord at the beginning.
Getting back on track, making a character have a personality defined by his "race" or status is completely cliche and overused. Nobody does it anymore. You'll barely ever find a "devil" or "demon" in fiction who resembles his real life counter-part.
Also works with demons are cliche as much as The Divine Comedy is cliche.
No anon, if you want to talk about something you have no idea about, you will read something that doesn't make sense to you because you have no reference to it.
Holy shit, how is this allowed?
I'd like to know where you even found pictures of these. I'd also love to know if they were in any particular magazine or just get the higher quality versions of the, but the latter is the entire problem.
I believe they should be in special versions of the LN volumes. Like, if you buy them on a particular website, or something like that. But that's just a guess. I'm also hoping someone will scan them.
I was hoping you'd gotten them from a specific blog that'd state what they were from. Moon or otherwise, of course.
>I believe they should be in special versions of the LN volumes
Nah none of the LNs had these as specials. They might be special illustrations from one of the manga magazines it runs in, or they could just be specials from something else, like a public signing. Determining where they're from will also tell me how difficult it'll be to get.
Because face it, they're never getting scanned unless the artist releases an art book or something.
>I was hoping you'd gotten them from a specific blog that'd state what they were from.

Alright, alright. Did a little search so here it is:
LN volume 2 from toranoana
Manga volume 1 from toranoana
Manga volume 2 from toranoana
Manga volume 2 from melonbooks
Pic related from manga volume 1 from melonbooks
Nah. It's just an inverse cliche. Like "Ha ha, it was the opposite of what you expected! The bad guys are good and the good guys are bad! Shower me with praise for my originality!". It's done so often that it actually ends up still counting as its own cliche. It's been done for so long that the writers grew up reading these same plot elements.
Like the thing with "The Church" of the setting always secretly being evil. Seriously, Japan's been doing that in everything for decades.
Your attempts at defense make it look like you only just started reading this stuff recently.
I never understood why people from /a/ never quite answer request, the time it takes them to be anal little bitches, they could just type what they know.
Then again, this is the board for man-children....so...

Manga volume 1 from rakuten
A kind of special volume from rakuten (auction rakuten co.jp/item/11397927/a/10036124/)
No idea. Presumably from bookwalker?
Rakuten also has some postcards of this to sell. Pic and next post related.
He passes out or hallucinates it happening and when he asks about it's left vague if it actually happened. At least that's what some LN readers said in previous threads and it's about as much as you can hope for in series like this.
I hope that all this shit will get scanned when the anime comes out...
it enables other newfags to start asking for a source at the drop of a hat.
give a man a source and he'll leave the thread, teach a man how to source and he'll stay quiet for the rest of his life.
>I never understood why people from /a/ never quite answer request, the time it takes them to be anal little bitches, they could just type what they know.
>Then again, this is the board for man-children....so...
Responsible adults learn to click the little triangle and reverse image search first.
Man-children expect the entire internet to handhold them forever so that they never have to think for themselves.
This is why faggot, you learn to do this.
Teach a faggot how to fish.
It actually has 2 manga. From what I understand the second one pretty much strips out the plot and goes pure fanservice.
Probably even faster to show them the process, not the result.
The result just gets "OMG HOW DID YOU DO THAT".
If you want fucking there's this, it takes a while to get there though.
>Anyone know what's the mango like?
Fucking read it, you have all the time in the world to do so since your time clearly isn't worth anything.
>thumbnail makes the chick in OP look like a bat-girl
You have a point. They could be blocking the script and not know, because they're new.
(The thing I screencapped has been builtin default site functionality for quite a while now, though. I've never used any kind of addons.)
Pretty much, I do prefer the art in the 1st one though.
There nipples in the second manga.
>That booty will be animated
Well she is a succubus, lewd is kinda in her job description.
I read the mango, I genuinely think it has too much smut. I mean, yeah I was hard as heck while reading it but still.
I guess I'm just growing too old for this stuff.
The sandiest vagina around.
>Quits translating because LN got an anime, claims fear of popularity.
>Calls readers "Entitled", but goes on about how he enjoys praise, but don't want to deal with negative feedback from new fans.
>Goes on a rant about his "passion for Japanese", and that anyone dependent on translators are leeches.
>Quits translating because LN got an anime, claims fear of popularity.
Did you read this or any other Shinmai maou thread? He was right.
Have you read ANY thread based on a LN that got an anime?
Yes, the threads increase, yes the popularity for the anime goes up, but as far as the LN's go, most anime-fags don't even bother reading them. You'll get the casual "what's the difference between the anime and LN" threads or a random troll that had already been reading the LN dropping spoilers to piss off the anime-fags.
As far as leaps in popularity for the LN, it's too miniscule to warrant dropping the project because negative feedback might outweigh the positive praise prozess seeks to fuel its ego. So a nobody tells prozess to "speedup", doesn't mean prozess has too. True fans of the series will continue to patiently wait like they've always done, and bandwagon faggots will eventually fuckoff.
It'll just go on the backlog until someone else picks it up.
Nope, it was a side-project from the start.
>Well, it is Prozess, nobody should be surprised at this point.
I only even recognize that name because every damn time I see it, drama is involved and translations are killed.
>or a random troll that had already been reading the LN dropping spoilers to piss off the anime-fags.
People always think this, but the impression I always get is that LN readers put spoilers in spoiler tags to have civilized discussions, but there's always one anime retard who has no self control and ends up spoiling himself. Then he has to get pissed off about it and decides to ruin it for everyone too.
Fuck the LNs, I wish someone would get on translating the Arashi manga.
That shit gets straight to the point.
Every chapter is wall-to-wall PLOT.
