One week before the chapter is officially released in Japan, mangastream (niggastream) and mangapanda (waterpanda) get early scans. Then they proceed to translate it horribly. Niggastream sounds better, but is less accurate. Waterpanda is convoluted but the content is more correct. Both are shit.

Then, one week later, it's released in Japan and, practically simultaneously, Viz releases it officially on the US, with professional translation and scanlation.

If it wasn't for the one-week delay, we'd all read Viz only, but in the current situation, we read whatever comes first for a sneak peak and initial discussion, until Viz releases their version one week (actually 6 days) later so we get the proper idea of what's going on.

If you aren't impatient, just wait for Viz.

That's a bad example. Kurapika WAS stressed out over a big problem, being unable to find the source of the video with the remaining eyes. In this case it's Viz that was liberal in their translations.

Mangastream: overfilters the shit out of the scans, loses much detail. Translations is incredibly horrible, they change what the character is saying in its essence many times, and put some nigga speak too, just to make it even worse. Don't trust what you read. It's most likely wrong.

Mangapanda: water down the scan to an entire new level. Scan quality is even worse than mangastream. The translation is shit and hard to read, but much more accurate than mangastream's.

Viz: professional version. Good translation and good scans. But comes 1 week after the other 2.

There is no automatic method, but here's my rationale. The images you see are saved somewhere on your computer. This place is probably a temporary folder so you don't access it easily for further redistribution. We just have to find it.

Viz's translation here is worse than Mangastream.

Why can he only copy punching abilities? Why not kicking? Can he not copy karate chops? What about stuff like Razor's nen balls? What if instead of a fist Leorio emitted a hammer?

Viz were invaluable at the start of this arc, when they were the only people able to translate the dense Togashi dialogue. Mangastream has now upped it's game, so Viz isn't as vital. Mangapanda still sucks.

Not needed, the only files that should be changed are the spreads. The other jpeg-files should be as they are.

The thing is when a image is saved as a 'lossy' image type (jpeg) the image looses details. Thats why you should never open up jpeg files and then save them as jpeg.

You should (if you only have jpeg files to work with, which is our case):
a) use special tools which doesnt re-encode the jpeg. jpegjoin is such a tool.
b) save the combined new image as png, since it isnt a lossy format.

If we only care about quality and not file size both these options are just as good. Option a however are superior if we want a lower file size.

However I have some problems joining them using option a, so we should go with option b for now, optimized pngs. There will be ~1 mb difference in size, which wont bother anyone anyway.

I had an hypothesis about this yesterday, that connected some dots. It's pretty rough though, be warned.

This is how it superficially goes:

- Sheila knows Ickshonpe.
Rationale: she has a bag which appears to have a drawing of Ickshonpe's face and her ears are similar to his, she also has some electronics.

- Sheila knows Ging
Rationale: she has a mutual friend with him: Ickshonpe, which is also one of the G.I. creators. Also, her D Hunter Book is from Don Freecss, a relative of Ging.

- Sheila got her book from Ryuseigai or the Ryodan
Rationale: when the Ryodan killed the Kurata clan, they left a not saying: "We reject no one, so take nothing from us.". That implies they were getting something back, that had been stolen. That could be the D Hunter Book, that Kurapika gave to the elder of the Kurata clan.

- The D Hunter Book wasn't a mere copy of "East - by Don Freecss" like the other copies we see around. It was either the original volume or another book that wasn't East.
Rationale: the Ryodan wanted to get it back, so it was important. Supposing that, indeed, they were after the book.

So, with all that set, we get that the Ryodan has some connection with Don or the DC, at least, which makes it possible that they will be going there as well.

These are all unpolished and raw ideas, but I do believe Sheila is still important some way and that she is related to lots of characters. I would bet we are going to see her again. If anything, we are sure she wanted to become a Hunter due to the book and she knows Kurapika, so that makes her quite important.

I just paid for a subscription when HxH came back so I get all of these without having to pay every week. The reason me and the other anon migrated everything was because people in other countries weren't able to access Mega.

So we redid all the chapters with this new method to get better quality images and uploaded them to Mediafire so everyone could access it. I'm going to do the chapter every week from now on and put it in the mediafire folder using this new method.

What if the constant hiatus was to stall as much time as possible so Hunter x Hunter could outlive those two and become one of the main series to carry WSJ? And perhaps this was all a plan hatched by Togashi to get revenge for YYH?

I thought the new world traveler's handbook was kinda like the black tape in Yu yu hakusho, in that it was totally brutal and disgusting. I doubt a child would gain a sense of adventure from such a tale.

And even then, Togashi has made it seem like the author is still in the new world, or atleast dead together with the West book there.
