Let's have a thread for this perfect little girl.
>saved the world
>saved a bunch of good girls
>is perfect in every way
>is loved by everyone she's ever met
>never gets any love on /a/
Madoka is such a great girl she deserves more love. No shitty devils allowed.
I think Anon likes Madoka even though there's almost no threads about her. I sure do anyway, she's lovely.
It will be another character's thread in less than 15 posts, and maybe it's better this way.
Nice try, but we know that no one can hold such a terrible opinion so that gets a 2/10 at best.
Imagine how fun it would be to bully Madoka.
>hiding her books and watch her cry during class
>tripping her in the hallways and stepping on her ribbons
>filling her locker with fake Valentines from Homura, all of which saying "I hate you, please die."
>spreading rumors about her deviancy so that Sayaka gets disturbed by her
>untying her shoes in gym so she trips and makes a fool of herself
>tricking her into thinking she's meeting Homura at the school entrance, only to drop a bucket of used mop water on her from the upper levels
>hiding her clothes after swimming classes so she has to go home in her swimsuit and get laughed at
>lying to her and saying Sayaka likes her, then watch her go to her only to have Sayaka get creeped out and tell her to never talk to her again, resulting in Madoka breaking down into tears
>after months of bullying, Madoka breaks free of her control and becomes Godoka again
>Homura doesn't care
>Godoka asks why, Homura states she couldn't stand being hurt by the person she used to care about any longer
>Homura grabs Godoka and traps her in an even stronger barrier
>Godoka is forced to live in a spiritual jail cell where Homura and the others can come and torment her for all eternity
>"Stupid bitch, did you think we could forgive you for what you did? You should never have asked Homura to save you."
>Godoka is driven insane by the constant bullying and begs for death, but death never comes
>the worst pain of all are Homura's own words, "I hate you, Madoka."
Welp, time to read The Magical Girl Next Door again
Was wondering how long it would take the impostor pinkfags to show up.
I don't hate HomuHomu, what are you talking about? >>109229248 is just implying exactly what I said, and that's wrong.
Homura never did anything like that and to suggest as such means you either never paid attention to the movie, you're extremely buttdevestated by the ending, you're shitposting, or all three.
This >>109229640 is fanfiction.
She killed Godoka out of sheer lust for Madoka.
Homura knows Madoka will oppose her and she'll lose one day. Madoka will fix everything and destroy Homura's evil.
Would you stupidly spoil cute madoka with all your hard-earned money?
But Madoka does love Homura. She loves all magical girls. It's a part of her job description.
If she was mind wiped she would probably realize her full potential on her own, leading away from all this suffering she has endured and will endure for the sake of Madoka and her friends.
I will never understand the autism of many anons
Madoka forced Homura to fall into despair. She is the Grim Reaper of magic girls and needs to be stopped at all costs.
All hail Madokami!!
This is what Homurafags want you to believe.
Let's delete Homura's love and make her a miserable, pointless wreck, then force her to be alone and endure endless bullying and pain for the rest of eternity. Maybe she'd finally kill herself.
I cannot wait for her vengeance.
No. It is not.
The poor girl was willing to commit suicide to save Madoka's secret, if it wasn't for idiots like Sayaka and Nagisa Homura would have already died alone and in eternal despair on her own volition.
>This is not the happiness that Madoka wished for.
Did you worship your Godesses on her altar today?
That was just her trying to fulfill her purpose and take the coward's way out of her problems. When she was saved she realized she could achieve her goals AND desires in one fell swoop by betraying everyone and ruining Madoka's life. I wish she had died in her barrier suffering alone for eternity, because she certainly deserves it now. Poor Madoka will have to carry out the death sentence personally, but it's a good thing she's so strong and convicted or she might actually have remorse in sending Homura to hell.
It was all Madoka's plan though. She kind of forced Homura's hand
I'm pretty sure traitors, degenerates, rapists, murderers, and liars all go to hell. And going to hell and experiencing eternal regret and suffering is what happens when you do all that to a goddess. That's justice.
It's true. This is the ending. Urobuchi is done with Madoka and Homura's story. All that's left is yuri shenanigans between the devil and the amnesiac goddess.
>implying Homura hasn't been living in hell all her life
How else could become the devil?
But it would be impossible for Madoka to construct an appropriate hell for Homura. Any pain and suffering that she could inflict would only be more proof to Madoka's existence, and such knowledge would outweigh any pain that could inflicted.
>What she did.
She saved Madokami from the Incubators meddling.
She gave back her life with her family and friends.
She delivered some/all magical girls from their soul crushing fate as witches.
She delivered karmic retribution to the entire race of Incubators.
Pretty good for a day's work.
She declined heaven out of greed and lust, let her see what a real hell is.
Make her forget, make her experience an existence completely absent of her, make her know that she's worthless and suffer endlessly regretting her whole life, wishing for one last chance to redo a timeline but never have the chance.
>What Homura did.
>destroy Madoka's happiness
>brainwash all life everywhere
>doom the universe
>bully everyone for her own amusement
>Make her forget,
But then she wont have the pain of losing Madoka, and that was the greatest pain she could ever experience. Life as Moemurra was cupcakes compared to Homura as far as suffering is concerned.
So there would be no grand hell, just an ordinary shitty life.
Okay I'm curious, absent of the series, why do you hate the character Homura so much? I just can't fathom how someone could hate an anime character with such disgusting malice as you and your fellow homuhaters do.
What would you do if your daughter was Homura? Would you not even try to understand her?
Make her recall there was something there but it's gone. Make her existence empty and painful. Make her wish she could escape her suffering and correct her sins, but there is no escape. Endless turmoil absent of Madoka's warmth is perfect for her.
She's a disgusting person with no redeemable qualities. If she were my daughter I'd see to it she wouldn't be such a shitty person by raising her properly.
>She's a disgusting person with no redeemable qualities. If she were my daughter I'd see to it she wouldn't be such a shitty person by raising her properly.
It doesn't even sound like you thought about the question. You homuhaters are just losers who hop on a hate bandwagon without any individual thought or conscience. You guys are the bane of the Madoka fanbase. You make me sick.
>destroy Madoka's happiness
Madokami wasn't happy - she took a bullet for the universe. Besides Homurakuma gave her new happiness with her real family and her real friends, but without her memories leading up to and after becoming a magical girl.
>brainwash all life everywhere
You got me there.
>doom the universe
But she didn't any more than Madoka did. She took all the curses, entropy, and shit and imposed it on the Incubators.
>bully everyone for her own amusement
She only bullied Sayaka, and in the end gave her a second chance at life anyway.
>become a goddess to save all magical girls
>realize you have a special someone who has fought for you for years
>remember that you love this person very much
>give her your ribbons so she can hope to meet you again someday and be together forever
>watch over her from space, see her get caught by Incubators
>get Sayaka and some cheese gremlin to come with you to save her like she saved you, all while being able to be lovey dovey with her
>see her turn into a witch and suffer, breaking your heart, but still manage to save her by making sure she knows you love her
>finally try to take her away with you with a cosmic procession
>she betrays you, pulls you down from heaven and imprisons your god powers in a lizard
>makes you forget all about her and how much you love her because she wants you to be happy as a human
>be forced to watch your Homu become a devil and destroy herself with despair over you, and you can't do anything about it
Being Madoka is suffering.
I'm sure there would still be ways to torture her without letting that happen.
True, but Homura became a shit person, or rather her shittiness got expanded.
All I can think about her are negative qualities. What are some good things about her that aren't flawed speculation like her wanting Madoka to be happy (she doesn't care) or her trying hard for Madoka (because of obsession)?
Madoka was happiest being fulfilled as a goddess doing more good than she ever could otherwise, and Homura ruined it for herself.
She even admits the universe is unstable. Something clearly is going to happen that will damage it severely if she's not stopped.
She bullied Mami and Kyouko who just wanted to help her, she mindraped Sayaka and laughed about it, then she led Madoka on to capture her for herself, isolated from her real friends. She enjoys making others suffer.
13 If I speak in the tongues[a] of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. 2 If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. 3 If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast,[b] but do not have love, I gain nothing.
4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
8 Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away. 9 For we know in part and we prophesy in part, 10 but when completeness comes, what is in part disappears. 11 When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put the ways of childhood behind me. 12 For now we see only a reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.
13 And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.
>What are some good things about her that aren't flawed speculation
Homura does actually have a kind and gentle heart, she just has been forced to build thick walls around it because of the immense amounts of suffering and despair she has experienced. If you watch the series over again, you will realize that she constantly wishes to reason out and discuss things rather than fight or argue.
Madoka was happiest being a school aged girl hanging out with friends and family and only became a goddess at great personal cost.
It's also not like the universe was stable before. Those rat bastard incubators were out to gain control of Madoka and turn magical girls into witches, again.
She didn't bully Mami or Kyouko, and Sayaka was better off after the mindrape. Madoka's not isolated from her real friends, and the only person HomuHomu enjoys making suffer is herself.
Show some respect.
Say that to her face motherfucker not online and see what happens
To be fair, Mami was fleshed out beyond anyone could have imagined
You've got to admit, it's tough for a lightweight like Madoka to be more fleshed out than Mami.
Yes, it's a pun.
I'm not complaining. Homura is wonderful and seeing what's-his-fuck constantly embarrassing himself with pretending she'll go to hell is hilarious.
Well in the original timeline, Homura had the tough decision of either becoming a magical girl and try to save her friend or die right then and there at the hands of Walpurgis.
I doubt that would be the case, how could weak, low-karma Madoka be able to beat Walpurgis when she couldn't in later timelines with the help of Homura?
So, what was stopping Homura from just wishing everyone, or at least Madoka, back alive? Because if her wish can give her game breaking time powers, then I don't see how it can't do that.
Homura did wish Madoka back alive. She just wanted to be able to protect her this time. The funny thing is that her wish only was granted in the strictest sense. I wonder if it would have prevented Madoka from contracting if she wished for her safety. There's no way she could have known that but it's an interesting idea.
What? I thought the opposite was true, hence her ability to become Madokami in the end. With each timeline the karmic ties to her wound tighter and tighter, enabler her to become a stronger and stronger magical girl. Which is why in one of the timelines she does actually beat Walpurgis but then immediately takes her place as the most powerful witch in history.
Why didn't Madoka just wish for the witches to go away on their own, rather than doing it herself? Why didn't she just wish for despair to go away?
Bullshit, reviving a couple hundred people can't be harder than rewinding the whole universe.
I think he's talking about how she's less confident each timeline really she's only confident as a magical girl. It really shows that confidence isn't really worth the cost she paid. Madoka needs a job or something where she can be helpful without dying.
It's still shit-posting even if a homuhater pretends to be someone else.
But that wouldn't solve the problem, Walpurgis would still be on the loose and would quite possibly kill all those people again as soon as they were revived. Ultimately you have to consider the mindset this 14 year old girl was in when she was pressured to make her wish.
>The original timeline was when Homura first became a mahou shoujo after watching Madoka and Mami die in front of her.
No, that's what I'm talking about.
You're correct. Madoka doesn't really become incredibly powerful untill Homura stops her from becoming a Puella Magi right until Walpurgisnacht, which is the last timeline (fifth) before she becomes a goddess.
>Madoka needs a job or something where she can be helpful without dying.
She can be Homura's wife, helping her relax after a long day of maintaining the universe and kicking Kyubey around.
Why doesn't Homu just take LoC?
Wouldn't that solve everything? She's an extension of Madoka and then Madoka won't have to crush Homu's heart in the end because she's fucking borderline asexual.
That's pretty selfish of her though. Either that or the more realistic theory that Urobuchi needed to meet his suffering quota for the show and decided Madoka needed a bizarrely self-destructive wish. Honestly such stupid wording screams that it was only phrased that way to make the ending bittersweet.
Well in that case, I would say Homura had the potential to revive at least Madoka. Apparently Homura's life was pretty rough from the start. Poor girl can't catch a break.
She has the LoC. It's in her love gem/earring. Watch the scene in the hallway again. It reacts to Madoka's presence.
Well, you could say that if she didn't take the despair with, there would still be wraiths and they would be more powerful. And talking about wraiths, where the hell do they come from?
Considering how Sayaka has been conditioning her for it so long, if Homura actually succeded when she was a magical girl there was a glimmer of a chance for that. Madoka also mentioned she wanted to marry someone cool like her mom.
Speaking of Junko, she does not need children. No good parent lets their kid out into a hurricane. That whole ending was complete nonsense.
They're the new forms curses take. If Madoka had wish despair or curses didn't exist that would have fixed it. She didn't know about the curses thing but she already knew despair tainted soul gems and gave birth to witches. I honestly thought that would be her wish when she announced her decision to contract.
Mami getting her head bit off kind of put a damper on that. She didn't find out about her god-like powers until Sayaka was breaking down.
She still let her go. She knows Madoka has self-esteem issues from their bathroom talks in the morning and the drinking scene. This should ring alarm bells in her head when Madoka says "Only I can do this." Hell, she should know better than the viewer that she's having a typical teen moment.
>So, what was stopping Homura from just wishing everyone, or at least Madoka, back alive?
Homura didn't just want Madoka to live, she wanted to be the one to keep her from ever dying in the first place. She didn't want to be the weak, helpless Moemura anymore, she wanted to be as cool as her name, just like Madoka told her to. More than selflessness vs. selfishness or hope vs. love or Kant vs. Nietzsche or anything like that, that's the root of the conflict between them; each wants to be the protector, neither wants to be protected.
I often forget, but then it always makes sense when I hear that Homura's mental age is about 22.
Really? Because episode 10 doesn't feel like it skipped any timelines, at last three seem like they are continuous: Madoka comits suicide by Homu > Homura finally becomes her current self > Stops Madoka from becoming a witch right until the end > Start of episode 1 with Madoka remembering the Walpurgis fight in a dream.
I mean, you're not wrong. The most I can reason is because the plot required her to let Madoka go. You can also view it as a Mother Mary/Jesus moment, but only if that helps justify it for yourself.
Yeah..... Chalk that up as another of the 435 reasons that episode 10 should have been two episodes, right next to "If it had been two episodes, then Madoka+Homura's relationship would have been way less weird."
Seriously, we go from "I'm a magical girl! Don't tell anyone in class" to "MY LIFE ISN'T WORTH LIVING IF YOU'RE NOT ALIVE!!!" in the span of like three minutes.
At the time of his sacrifice it seemed like most of his followers either abandoned him or betrayed him. Those who remained faithful to him believed him when he said that it was what he was meant to do.
I think maybe the last three were.. well.. the last three, but I think it's safe to assume that there might have been a few more timelines prior to those.
The last half of episode 11 and all of twelve were completely baffling to me. So much shit just happens because it has to rather than it feels right. It was really surprising to see Rebellion do a good job of making the characters act in character rather than drive forward the plot. Well, except Sayaka. Her only plot moment was vague and required way too much inspection to really "fit".
Peter tried. He stopped when Jesus told him to just like Homura when Madoka told her to trust her.
>>tricking her into thinking she's meeting Homura at the school entrance, only to drop a bucket of used mop water on her from the upper levels
Shit I just remembered something like that, someone died from having shit dropped on their head as a prank, can't remember where it was from.
Hotdog to the back of the neck? Or maybe it was a water balloon. Fuck it I can't remember.
I remember there was one case of a guy out in the woods had his neck broken by cowshit that rained down on him from a cow being airlifted
sage for offtopic
>Her only plot moment was vague and required way too much inspection to really "fit".
Maybe that was just to show that she's a hypocrite? It's not like there isn't a basis for that with how she acted in the series.
I imagine Madoka would react to being bullied much like Shouko from Koe no Katachi does.
It seems like it was supposed to show growth like with the scene before the Hitomi nightmare fight. It's perfectly in character with her new demeanor during the kyouske recital but she beats around the bush so hard she would make Kyuubey proud.
Forgive me Father Sayaka, for I have sinned
multiple times, all over Madoka's cute, white pantsu
Sayaka doesn't have to do shit in the law of cycles and gets to feel all enlightened during her most angsty hormonal phase. Nagisa was happy as a kid and she wanted to leave just for cheese. Clearly all celestial secretaries are not created equal.
There have been times when a girl's love juices have smelled and tasted sweet to me, and boy when that occurred I was in heaven. I just wish that was the normal state for all girls.
You know deep down inside you want the same.
What are you talking about?
I just enjoy the world where Madoka is being raped for eternity.
She's probably too concerned about being a nuisance to Madoka or coming off as a disgusting freak.
Fuck your spear
Fuck your shield
Bow and Arrow
>She's probably more worried Madoka would say yes because she's such a push-over.
That's silly. Madoka would say yes because she loves her, not because she's afraid of hurting her feelings or whatever.
So is there a reason why Madoka is always crying instead of doing something useful?
She doesn't want clueless Madoka's words. She just wants her.
Don't worry Madoka. Holy Sayaka shall smite the devil down at once.
>although it's hard to believe her being as forward as she in is in the official art
Did you watch the last 20 minutes of Rebellion?
Well when she hugs Madoka in the new world she's all panicky. The art makes it look like the two are all snuggly and familiar with each other.
I'm not saying it won't happen but it just seems to good to be true.
It doesn't matter anyway. Until Shinbo gets finishes whatever project he's on now we aren't getting anymore Madoka.
Madoka was useful and happy as goddess. But devil ruined everything.
If Rebellions writers had any balls they would have had Devil Homura ruling over a world returned to witches with her claiming it's worth it.
Instead Madoka gets to be a lazy cunt who gets her wish for no cost at all.
Did you see what's happening? Madoka is about to abandon her human form. Homura also doesn't panic uselessly, she grabs her and doesn't let go.
The art makes it look like Homura is all over Madoka, just like in that hallway. Just like how she tore Madoka apart without a single tear or regret.
Anyway, if you somehow need more story just to show you that HomuMado is real, you're hopeless. There likely won't be anything that continues the story.
>HomuMado is real
You mean how Homura prefers to have a Madoka who sees her as a stranger over a goddess Madoka who considers Homura to be her very best friend.
Madoka's at fault too, being almost stupidly naive to how much suffering she's actually put Homura through. Though at least when she first became a goddess she apologized for that.
Homura prefers Madoka alive. She put her as the transfer student for a reason, so she can be closest to her.
As for the suffering, Madoka tried to cleanse that. Homura didn't let her, since she considers that part of her love.
Wow, I'm getting pretty heated up by this comment.
>since she considers that part of her love.
I don't see the reasoning behind that.
Homu would be much happier if she had let Madoka cleanse her of suffering and be happy together forever.
I don't understand why she didn't take it.
Because she didn't wish for happiness, she wished to protect Madoka.
She's not in danger, she already ruined her happiness forever. Someone has to fix it.
Another Madoka thread turned into a Homura thread.
Not that i mind
>posting actual degenerate shit
I still don't understand why Homura had to split Madokami into two parts, when she could have just joined her in magical girl heaven. Why did Homura have to have things her own weird way, rather than just go with Madoka's flow where everything would have been fine and they could have been together anyway, without Homura having to become a demon. She seemed so close to her ultimate goal of being with Madoka again, but fucked it up for no good reason other than to feel powerful.
Because she believes Madoka genuinely would be happier as a normal human without having to fight endlessly forgotten by her friends and family. Homura doesn't care about what happens to her so long as Madoka is as happy as possible.
these are the perfect little girls
No one likes Maduk. Heil Homu! She will save us from Incubated.
Homu likes Madoka. And Madoka likes her.
Probably a tea, but oil is a funnier thought. I wonder if I can try Homu's spiral drink outside of Japan.
So, will be ever get a "100 Questions" for any of the other girls besides Madoka? It would be really nice, but I fear it will never happen.
Madoka should have wiped the memories of Homura and everything would have been fine.
Sayaka would have died one way or another, but she doesn't matter so much.
"I won't rely on anyone anymore! I don't need anyone to understand me ever again!" is about as teenager as you can get. Coldness isn't maturity. Not to mention the whole calling herself evil thing.
In Rebellion she has a lot more emotional stress going on, but throughout the series and most of the movie Homura maintains a level head and is always trying to reason out the situation.
What kind of casual fan would I be if I said no?
A sane one, most likely.
I would go as far as to taste Mami's sweat after a long patrol, but that is it
I always said Madoka was my favorite meguca, but anons always said I was a hipster, no one liked Madoka.
This thread makes me happy.
Captcha knows who the real goddess is
>if you want a mature girl in the show Rebellion Sayaka is the closest thing you're gonna get
Implying women don't eventually mature into cheese goblins.
Madoka: good goddess with a heart of gold and totally selfless
Homura: good girl with a damaged heart who does bad things with pure intentions, full of love but damaged beyond repair
Mami: big sister who loves all her friends and wants everyone to be happy, fragile heart but is very strong
Sayaka: goofy-looking soldier of justice who will do what is right until it breaks her, wants those she cares about to be happy
Kyouko: tough girl with a pure heart, desperate for a new group of people to love, will fight to protect those people she loves
Nagisa: likes cheese, probably fucks Mami
What went wrong?
>Nagisa: likes cheese, probably fucks Mami
How about I fuck you in the ass with a screwdriver?
Is there anything else we could say about her character? She's flatter than flat, she's less than one dimensional. She had more character as Charlotte.
There is nothing about her besides a little tragic backstory which is never shown in the movie.
And I meant the second part of that statement.
Madoka really is like Superman. They're both overpowered and have very conventional senses of morality, which leads many to label them as boring. Meanwhile, Homura's more like Batman; the long suffering, quietly competent "dark" hero who acts like the bad guy in order to create a world where no one else has to go through what they did.
You will always have to rely on others, that is why we live in society and all that stuff. It's a bit childish to play to be the "absolutely independent, distant person".
Knowing when you need help and when you can handle things yourself, that is maturity. And she doesn't quite excels at it.
she's childish, but her attachment to Mami and her joining with Sayaka to do this potentially dangerous assignment just to see her does mean something
Yeah, society. If Homura were saying something like that about some petty teen shit to her parents, you'd have a point.
But this involves magical girls, aliens, and the life of her best friend. We saw how relying on others works, so relying on others when they cannot be relied on would be far more childish.
>joining with Sayaka to do this potentially dangerous assignment just to see
Wrong. She didn't even know Mami on this world prior to Homura's barrier, as far as we are concerned.
>We saw how relying on others works
We saw it once, when Homura was still naive and could hardly talk to anyone else (even Madoka) without tripping over her words. Even if Mami and Sayaka will lose it as soon as they find out about witches, Kyouko won't, and she seems to be a more typical example of how most magical girls act than Mami is.
If that's really the only time Homura tried telling the other girls the truth, and she just repeated timeline 4 dozens of times over, then it's no wonder she failed every time.
See the image in >>109233750
And also this.
>telling everyone and everything else to go die.
Which is why she revived them all and gave them a normal life with the things that use to bring them their greatest happiness in it.
I don't know why people search so hard for reasons to hate Homura. I can understand not liking her decision, but you guys are like politicians with your ugly slander.
All that was to keep Madoka from having a reason to sacrifice herself. She doesn't care about them, but so long as they're occupied they won't get between her and Madoka again.
She could also have just killed them, that would have been the easier and the actual evil thing to do. Dead people can't get in your way and Madoka wouldn't have remembered them.
>Mom, Dad...and maybe Tatsuya-kun too?
>From here on, I'm going to be fucked senseless by Satan Herself, so...please watch <3
Come on now, Homura cares for and respects Madoka's family.
Anon, you are such a big baka, holy shit.
Mami's backstory remains as it was (lonely till the day she met the girls, Sayaka's death, later who knows). She did become strong, but on her own. The thing is that Homulilly's barrier "rearranged" some of the girls' memories. Since none of them seem older in the slightest, probably most of that didn't even happen.
Or don't you remember when Homu asks Mami how did she met Bebe and she didn't even know how to respond.
Everything is a dream. Dreams and lies!
>not sensual, cosmos shaking lovemaking
Homura would make a good daughter-in-law to drink with.
