The last few episodes were animated by the seat of their pants, it's actually not particularly relevant information, it gives some motive to Aikuro but it's not exactly doing the main story any favors. I think Trigger actually made the right call, the only real wastes of time were Hallelujahs which I'd imagine are overwhelmingly more popular from the perspective of someone understanding all the puns being made.

But her appearances were ill timed and became too frequent over time, she devolved from a menacing unpredictable force to an annoying second-rate villain.
