HS never upscales or downscales anything.
No matter what resolution was used for production, nips upscale it to 1080 and send it to CR/funi who downscale it back. Although sometimes simulcasters only get 720, like with Urara.
If you have to go HS always pick highest resolution available, CR/funi have no fucking idea how to actually downscale and any modern video player does better job in real time.

There's a number of impressions from the first two episodes on 2ch. Seems sorta mixed in that the animation took a notable hit but people generally seem to like it.

Japan hated the Fullbringer arc because it didn't focus on the Shinigami or the Arrancar.

/a/ actually liked the Fullbringer arc because it refocused on Karakura Town and the slice-of-life aspects from the first arc, and Fullbring were an interesting break from Bleach's usual powerlevels.

Anyway it not as bad as I assume it was going to be but it still very early to judge. Kind of wish the MC is more interesting, RomCom's tend to always put focus on the girls and leave the story with a terrible bland MC that I don't think I'll be able to read another one where the MC is completely boring. At least in this manga he doesn't seem to be useless so that a plus.
