I think keyshot is the cool thing now all the cool kids are using.
I think the mentality now is "It doesn't matter what you model, as long as you get it into keyshot" it'll look cool.

This is pretty much how i see most zbrush work. Military mech suits, demons, and monsters. People think that to be impressive, things need more chains, straps, scars, horns, rivets, sockets, and little instructional decals. I call it Detail Nauseum.
